Solved – Apps Not Download or Update on iOS 11

When I was trying to update or download apps on my iPhone, I couldn’t update the apps. Many iPhone users have faced this issue. Somehow, I found some solution to resolve this problem. In this article, I am going share with you about this topic. If you have the same issue, this article will help you.
Solution 1: Restart your iPhone
iPhone 8 and Earlier

  • Press and hold the power button until you get a slider.
  • To turn off your device, drag the slider.
  • After few seconds, again press and hold the power button until you get an Apple logo.

iPhone X

  • Press and hold the side button until you get a slider.
  • To turn off your device, drag the slider.
  • Another way to restart your iPhone is open “Settings”.
  • Tap “General”.
  • Tap “Shut Down”. Then wait 10 to 15 seconds. After that click “side” button to turn on your iPhone.

Solution 2: Set “Automatically” for Date and Time

  • Launch “Settings”.
  • Click “General”.
  • Click “Date & Time”.
  • Select “Automatically”.

Solution 3: Try Another Way to Update
In the update section, you can see the update button. Instead of clicking this button, click on the “App” and here you can see another update button click on it.update-way
Solution 4: Turn Off and again Turn On Airplane Mode

  • Open “Settings”.
  • Turn off “Airplane” mode.
  • Wait for few seconds. After that, torn on it.

Solution 5: Check your Internet Connection
You need to check your internet connection. If a network connection is poor, it caused this problem. So, you should have used an internet connection to download or install apps.
Solution 6: Force Close App Store
Close the app while you are using the app. Then double click “Home” button. Here you can see the all closed apps. You have to swipe the app to close. After that, reopen the app and try to download or install the app.force-close
Solution 7: Delete the App and Reinstall it
This method may have resolved your problem. Long press the app to delete and click “X” icon for delete. Click the icon and click “Delete” button.
Then go to the App Store and search & select the app which you need. Then install the app.
Solution 8: Reset Network Settings

  • Launch “Settings”.
  • Click “General”.
  • Click “Reset’.
  • Click “Reset All Settings”.

Solution 9: Turn Off Automatic Updates

  • Launch “Settings”.
  • Click “iTunes and App Store”.
  • Under Automatic Download, you can see the Updates and turn off it.

Solution 10: Sign Out of App Store
This method may have resolved your problem. You just do sign out App Store and sign in back.

  • Open “Settings”.
  • Click “iTunes & App Store”.
  • Click your “Apple ID”.
  • Click “Sign Out”. Wait for few seconds”.
  • Then Sign back in.

Solution 11: Update or Download Apps Through iTunes

  • First, connect your iPhone to the computer.
  • Then open “iTunes”.
  • Click “Apps” tab.
  • In the upper menu, click “Updates”.
  • Select and click the app which you want to update. Again click “Update” button.
  • The App will be updated. Next, you will click “iPhone” icon at the top menu.
  • Click “Apps”. Click the updated “App”.
  • Again click “Update”.
  • At last sync your phone.
