Fix 1: Check Airpods Charge
- Check whether your Airpods in full charge.
- If it has a low charge then put it into your charger case and make it charge.
Fix 2: Turn Off/On Bluetooth
- Open “Settings”.
- Tap “Bluetooth” and Turn Off it.
- Wait for a few minutes and turn on it.
Fix 3: Check Microphone Settings for Airpods
- Open “Airpod Case”.
- Open “Settings”.
- Tap “Bluetooth”.
- Tap (i) info symbol.
- Select your “Microphone” from the menu option.
- Tap “Automatic” to set up both Airpods as the microphone.
- Just change this setting to “Always Left” or “Always Right” to use any one of the Airpods.
Fix 4: Reset Airpods through Airpod Case
- Keep your AirPods in the charging case.
- Then, close the AirPods case and wait for 15 seconds and open.
- Check your Airpods Status Light between the two spaces of your Airpods.
- It should flash white.
- Make sure that your AirPods are inside the case.
- Press and hold the “Set-Up” Button at the back of your Airpod Case for at least 15 seconds.
- Check your Airpods Status Light between the two spaces of your Airpods flashing White colour.
Fix 5: Forget Airpod Device
- Open “Settings”.
- Press the (i) info symbol.
- Choose “Forget this Device”.
- Wait for a few minutes and reconnect it.
Fix 6: Restart your iPhone
- Press and hold the “Side Button” and either “Volume Button” until the slider appears.
- Drag the slider to turn on iPhone.
- Then, again press and hold the “Side Button” until you see the Apple Logo.
Fix 7: Force Restart iPhone
For iPhone 6 and early
- Press and hold the “Home Button” and “Power Button” simultaneously.
- Hold both buttons until the screen turns to “black” and wait until the Apple Logo appears.
For iPhone 7
Press and hold the Power and Volume Down Button at the same time until the Apple logo appears.
For iPhone 8 and later
- Press the “Volume Up button” and release it.
- Press the “Volume Down button” and release it.
- Then, press and hold the “Side Button” until the Apple Logo appears.
Fix 8: Reset Network Settings
- Go to Settings->General->Reset.
- Tap “Reset Network Settings”.
- Enter the Passcode if required and tap “Reset Network Settings” in the pop-up box.
Note: This action will reset all Wi-Fi Networks & Passwords, APN & VPN Settings, and Cellular Settings of your iPhone.
Fix 9: Change Outputs and Inputs on Mac
- Tap “Apple Logo”.
- Tap “System Preferences”.
- Then, choose “Sound”.
- Select the “Output” tab.
- Choose “Airpods”.
- Then select the “Input” Tab.
- Select “anything But Airpods” this disables Airpods mic to produce high-quality sound from Airpods.
