iOS 11: GPS Issues and Problems on iPhone and iPad

iPhone users complain that they have some issues with GPS on their iPhone or iPad. GPS not working, GPS signal not found, inaccurate GPS location problems are mostly happening to the iPhone users. Do you have GPS issue? Need solutions for that? If, then read this article. Here I am going to tell you how to fix Bluetooth issues and problems.

  1. Not updating the location.
  2. Inaccurate GPS location.
  3. GPS signal not found.
  4. Showing the wrong location.

Solution 1: Check your Internet Connection
If you have the GPS issue, one of the reason of this issue is the bad internet connection. So, you have to check that first. You can use either Cellular Data or Wi-Fi but it should be fast.
Solution 2: Turn on Location Services
If Location Services is disabled, then you can’t use GPS and it doesn’t work. You have to check whether it’s on or off. If it turned off, then turn on it. For that,

  1. Launch “Settings”.
  2. Tap “Privacy” -> “Location Services”.
  3. Turn on Location Services, if it turned off.
  4. Select any app and choose “Always” or “While using the App”.

Solution 3: Refresh the Location Services
If Location Service is on, still it doesn’t work you have to refresh the Gps. for that,

  1. Launch “Settings”.
  2. Tap “Privacy” -> “Location Services”.
  3. Turn off the Location Services and restart your Phone. Then turn it on again.

Solution 4: Reset Network settings

  1. Go to “Settings” -> “General” -> “Reset”.
  2. Tap “Reset Network Settings”.
  3. Enter the Passcode if required and tap “Reset Network Settings” in the pop-up box. After doing this restart your Phone.

Solution 5: Reset Location and Privacy

  1. Go to “Settings” -> “General” ->”Reset”.
  2. Tap “Reset Location & Privacy”.

Solution 6: Turn Off LTE
Many iPhone users said that the problem was solved by turning off LTE. to do so,

  1. Launch “Settings”.
  2. Tap “Cellular” -> “Cellular Data Options”.
  3. Tap “Voice & Data”.
  4. Choose “3G”.

Solution 7: Force Restart
iPhone 6 and earlier
Press and hold the Home Button and Power Button (Sleep/Wake) until the Apple Logo Appears.
iPhone 7 & 7 Plus
Press and hold the Side Button and Volume Down Button until the Apple Logo appears.
iPhone 8, 8 Plus, & X

  1. Press the Volume Up Button and release it.
  2. Press the Volume Down Button and release it.
  3. Press and hold the Side Button until the Apple Logo appears.

Note: Don’t press “Volume Up” and “Volume Down” at the same time.
Solution 8: Refresh Airplane Mode

  1. Launch “Settings”.
  2. Turn on Airplane mode.
  3. Restart your device.
  4. Finally, turn off Airplane Mode.

Solution 9: Set Automatically for Date and Time

  1. Launch “Settings”.
  2. Tap “General” -> “Date and Time”.
  3. Turn on “Automatically”.

Solution 10: Restore your Device
Before you doing this, back up your device because it will erase all data on your Phone.

  1. Open iTunes on your PC or MAC. Make sure that iTunes is upgraded to latest version.
  2. Connect your iPhone or iPad via data (USB) cable to the Mac.
  3. Tap your iPhone icon when it shows on iTunes.
  4. Select the Summary tab and tap “Restore iPhone”.
  5. A new box will open to ask to confirm the action. Tap “Restore”.
  6. Then iTunes will restore your iPhone.
  7. When your phone restart, you can see a few options. You have to select “Set Up as New iPhone”.
