Applications are Not Working with Mobile Data on iPhone iOS 12.1.1


Recently I had updated my iPhone to iOS 12.1.1. As Usual, I turned on Mobile Data for using applications. But some apps are not working with Mobile Data like Amazon, Truecaller, Prime Video, and Flipkart. Apps were working fine with Wi-Fi. It was really frustrating to me. One of iPhone users said some solutions to solve this problem. In this article, I am going to share with those solutions to get rid of this problem.
Solution 1: Force Restart your iPhone
iPhone 6 and earlier
Press and hold the Home Button and Power Button (Sleep/Wake) until the Apple Logo Appears.
iPhone 7 & 7 Plus
Press and hold the Side Button and Volume Down Button until the Apple Logo appears.
iPhone 8, 8 Plus, X, XS, XR, and XS Max

  1. Press the Volume Up Button and release it.
  2. Press the Volume Down Button and release it.
  3. Press and hold the Side Button until the Apple Logo appears.

Note: Don’t press “Volume Up” and “Volume Down” at the same time.
Solution 2: Reset Network Settings

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone.
  2. Tap “Reset”.
  3. Tap “General”.
  4. Tap “Reset Network Settings”.Reset Network Settings
  5. Enter the passcode if prompted.
  6. Again tap “Reset Network Settings” in the pop-up box to confirm.

Solution 3: Update Current iOS

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone.
  2. Tap “General”.
  3. Now, scroll down the page to find “Software Update”.
  4. If a new update is available, you just tap “Download and Install”.
  5. Then follow the instruction to update.

Solution 4: Enable Mobile Data for Apps
If Mobile Data is not turned for particular apps, then you can’t access those apps using Mobile Data. So, check whether it’s turned or not.

  1. Go to Settings on your iPhone.
  2. Tap “Mobile Data”.
  3. Under MOBILE DATA, check the apps are turned on. If not, then you have to turn on it.mobile-data

Solution 5: Restore your iPhone
Before restoring, backup your device because this action erases your phone’s data.

  1. Open iTunes on your PC or MAC. Make sure that iTunes is upgraded to the latest version.
  2. Connect your iPhone or iPad via data (USB) cable to the Mac.
  3. Tap your iPhone icon when it shows on iTunes.
  4. Select the Summary tab and tap “Restore iPhone”.
  5. A new box will open to ask to confirm the action. Tap “Restore”.
  6. Then iTunes will restore your iPhone.
  7. When your phone restart, you can see a few options. You have to select “Set Up as New iPhone”.
