Apple Music Downloaded Songs Won't Play When Offline on iOS 11 [Solved]

There are many iPhone users getting an issue that Apple Music downloaded song won’t play when offline on iOS 11. I have also had this issue when I was playing the song on the internet, it plays well. Then I turned off the Internet and play the song on offline that didn’t play the downloaded songs. One of iPhone users helped me to get out of the problem. Method 1: Add Songs or Albums  to Library
Before you can listen to the music offline, you have to add the songs to Library. Open the “Music” app.

  1. Click “+” icon on your iPhone, iPad or iPod.
  2. You can see this on songs and albums.

Method 2: Turn On iCloud Music Library
Make sure that, you have turned on “Show Apple Music”. If it not, turn on it.

  1. Launch “Settings”.
  2. Click “Music” -> turn on “Show Apple Music”.

Method 3: Make Available Offline

  1. Open the Music app.
  2. Select the song which you want to save.
  3. At the right of the song or album or Playlist, name click on the “More” option.
  4. Click “Make Available Offline”.
  5. You can see the Albums and Songs under My Music -> Library.  See Playlist under My Music -> Playlist.

Method 4: Restart or Turn Off your iDevices
iPhone 8 and Earlier

  1. Press and hold the power button until you get a slider.
  2. To turn off your device, drag the slider.
  3. After few seconds, again press and hold the power button until you get an Apple logo.

iPhone X

  1. Press and hold the side button until you get a slider.
  2. To turn off your device, drag the slider.
  3. Another way to restart your iPhone is open “Settings”.
  4. Tap “General”.
  5. Tap “Shut Down”. Then wait 10 to 15 seconds. After that click “side” button to turn on your iPhone.

Method 5: Turn On and Off Airplane Mode

  1. Swipe the screen from bottom to up.
  2. Now, you can get Control Center.
  3. Turn on “Airplane” mode.
  4. Wait for few seconds and turn it off.
