As you all know, WhatsApp has the feature of video calling. It works very pretty than the other video calling apps. We need a high network connection for video calling and also for a voice call. But recently many peoples complaining that their WhatsApp Video Call not working on iPhones. Don’t worry, It was a simple issue. Here, I gonna share some solutions to fix this issue. Let’s get started.
Solution 1: Check the Network connection
If you are a Mobile/Cellular Data user
- Go to “Settings”.
- Turn off “mobile/Cellular data”.
- Wait for few minutes and again turn it on.
If you are a Wi-Fi user
- Go to “Settings”.
- Turn off “Wi-Fi”.
- Wait for few minutes and again turn it on.
Solution 2: Update WhatsApp on iPhone
- Launch “App Store”.
- Select “Updates”.
- If you have an update it appears in red color.
- Click on “Update” near the WhatsApp icon.
- Now, It will automatically update and install.
Solution 3: Uninstall and Install WhatsApp on iPhone
To Uninstall
- Touch and hold the WhatsApp icon until it wiggling.
- Click the “x” symbol at the top right of Whatsapp to uninstall.
- Tap on “Delete” in the pop-up menu to confirm.
To Install
- Go to “App Store”.
- Tap on “Search Button” at the bottom right of the screen.
- Search for “WhatsApp”.
- Then, Download and Install it.
Solution 4: Update iPhone to the latest version
- Go to Settings -> General -> Software update.
- Tap download and install if an update is available.
Solution 5: Give permission to make a video call
On Whatsapp, if you want to make a video call, then you should give permission to access your Microphone and Camera. To do that.
- Launch Settings on your iPhone
- Then scroll down the screen and tap on Whatsapp.
- Now Toggle ON the Microphone and Camera option.
- After that go to Check now your Whatsapp video call work or not.
Solution 6: Toggle OFF Low Data Mode
In case if you turn on your Low Data Mode on your iPhone it may cause the Whatsapp video call not working issue. Because Whatsapp requires high internet speed to make a video call. So let’s check it out.
- Launch Settings and tap on Cellular.
- Now tap on the Cellular Data then Disable the Low Data Mode.
