How to Fix “Waiting for activation” Error from iMessage on iPhone

Basically, many of the iPhone users are experiencing lots of issues day by day. But, most of the users are complaining that “iMessage Waiting for activation” on their iPhone. You may have some simple fixes to solve this problem efficiently. Here I gonna share you some fixes to get rid of this problem easily.
Steps to follow before trying the Fixes

  1. Check your software is updated to its latest version.
  2. Make sure you are connected to Wi-Fi or Cellular/Mobile data.
  3. Check whether “Date & Time” are correct.

After checking the above steps try the fixes given below.
Fix 1: Turn Off & Turn On Airplane mode

  1. Go to “Settings”.
  2. Turn on “Airplane” mode and wait for few minutes.
  3. Then turn it off. (or)
  4. Just swipe up the screen from bottom to up you can see the control center.
  5. Then turn on “Airplane mode” and wait for few minutes.
  6. Then turn it off.

Fix 2: Sign Out & Sign in Apple ID
To Sign Out,

  1. Launch “Settings”.
  2. Tap “Messages”.
  3. Tap “Send & Receive”.
  4. Tap “Apple ID” and press Sign out at the pop-up box.

To Sign In,

  1. Launch “Settings”.
  2. Tap “Messages”.
  3. Enable “iMessage”.
  4. Sign in “Apple ID”.

Fix 3: Turn off and turn On iMessage

  1. Go to Settings -> Messages -> Turn off iMessage.
  2. Wait for few minutes and Turn it on.

Fix 4: Hard Reset your iPhone
For iPhone 6 and early

  1. Press and hold the “Home Button” and “Power Button” simultaneously.
  2. Hold both buttons until screen turns to “black” and wait until the Apple Logo appears.

For iPhone 7
Press and hold the Power and Volume Down Button at the same time until the Apple logo appears.
For iPhone 8 and later

  1. Press the “Volume Up button” and release it.
  2. Press the “Volume Down button” and release it.
  3. Then, press and hold the “Side Button” until the Apple Logo appears.

Fix 5: Update Carrier Settings

  1. Go to Settings -> General.
  2. Tap “About”.
  3. If there is an update available, you will get the “Update” Option.
  4. You can see the version next to the Carrier.
