How to Use Walkie-Talkie App in Apple Watch


A walkie-talkie is one of the apps which is used to communicate with your friends In the new watchOS 5 had introduced walkie-talkie app and it is one of the interesting app. I think Apple Watch owners have an amazing feature. By using walkie-talkie app you can communicate with available contacts.  Here I’m gonna share about how to use Walkie-Talkie App in Apple Watch.

Note: Here pairing device should be in the same version like watchOS 5 beta.

How to start using Walkie-Talkie

  1. Launch Walkie-Talkie.
  2. Select the name in your contact whom you want to talk.
  3. Tap the “+” icon on a contact list to add additional contacts to talk.

How to Send Voice Message

  1. Launch Walkie-Talkie.
  2. Tap Contact Card > Talk Button this is for the record the speech.
  3. After your recording finishes then release the button.

How to manage your Walkie-Talkie contacts on your iPhone

  1. Launch Watch App on your iPhone.
  2. Tap Walkie-Talkie > Contacts here a list of contact cards will be available.
  3. Now tap Edit for remove or other changing in contact.
  4. Swipe left the contact you want to remove.
  5. Tap the Remove button to delete a contact from the walkie-talkie.

How to Add Your Friends to Walkie-Talkie

  1. Launch the Walkie-Talkie.
  2. Here you see a list of contacts and select a contact to send a request.
  3. In this receiver there are two options like
  4. Always Allow.
  5. Dismiss the request
  6. Finally, contact has been added to your list and it will appear in Watch app.

How to Switch  Unavailable Mode to Avoid Talking in Walkie-
Talkie app

  1. Launch the Walkie-Talkie App.
  2. Here Swipe up all to control unavailable mode.
  3. Then Turn on it.

How to Remove a Walkie-Talkie contact

  1. Launch Walkie-Talkie.
  2. Swipe left the contact you want to remove.
  3. Tap X icon to remove the contact.
