iPhone XS Max Unable to Activate Face ID

Some of iPhone XS Max users reporting that “Face ID unable to activate” error occurs frequently. It is one of the irritating error. Most of them are not interested in using Face ID, for this reason, am I right? I too had the same issue. I tried some steps to avoid this issue. It works for me. So now I’m gonna share those steps with you. Hope it will help you to solve your problem too.
Solution 1: Restart Your Device

  1. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the slide to power off screen appears.
  2. Drag the slider to turn off your device.
  3. Again press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until you see an Apple Logo.

Solution 2: Turn off/on Face ID

  1. Launch Settings.
  2. Tap Face ID & Password.
  3. Turn off iPhone Unlock.
  4. After a few seconds and then turn on it.

Solution 3: Reset Face

  1. Launch Settings.
  2. Tap Face ID & Settings.
  3. Finally, tap Reset Face ID.
  4. Enter your passcode.
  5. Again tap Reset Face Id to confirm your action.

Solution 4:  Reset All settings

  1. Launch Settings > General.
  2. Scroll down to see Reset and then tap it.
  3. Tap “Reset all Settings”.
  4. Enter passcode if required and then tap “Reset All Settings” in Pop-up box to confirm the action.

Solution 5: Force Restart

  1. Press Volume Up button and then release it quickly.
  2. Press Volume Down button and then release it quickly.
  3. Finally, press and hold the Side button( Wake/Sleep button) until the Apple logo appears.
