10 Tricks to Free Up Space on iPhone/iPad

“Insufficient Storage space” message may occur in many of the iPhone/iPad users. Basically, no apps, videos, and music are the reason for storage shortage on your device. Whereas most of the android mobiles help us to add more storage through the memory card, but iPhones have limited storage capacity. If you have low space look down to see some of the tricks to solve this issue.
Set Messages to automatically Delete

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Tap on messages.
  3. At the message, history click on the Keep Messages.
  4. Set 30 days.

Just Clear Safari History and Website Data

  1. Go to settings -> Safari.
  2. Scroll down to see Clear History and website data.
  3. Tap on Clear History and data in Dialog Box.

Remove Offline Data

  1. Go to Settings -> general.
  2. Tap on iPhone Storage.
  3. Scroll down to find Safari.
  4. Click on Offline Reading List.
  5. If you stored any Offline data, Tap on edit at the right of the top.
  6. Click delete to remove your Offline data.

Disable Auto Download media from Whatsapp

  1. Launch the Whatsapp.
  2. Go to Settings -> Chats.
  3. Turn off “Save to Camera Roll” to stop the media downloading automatically.

Offload unused apps

  1. Go to settings -> iTunes and App Store.
  2. Scroll down the page and enable the Offload Unused data.

Disable Keep Normal Photo

  1. Go to Settings -> Camera.
  2. Turn off Keep Normal Photo.

Check the Photo Stream

  1. Go to settings.
  2. Scroll down to find Photos and go into it.
  3. Find “Upload to My Photo Stream” and disable it.

Delete your Reading List

  1. Go to Settings -> General.
  2. Tap on iPhone Storage.
  3. Scroll down to find Safari and click on it.
  4. Swipe Left on Offline Reading List and then delete it.

Disable Automatic update

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Scroll down to find “iTunes & App Store” and click it.
  3. At the automatic downloads, you find the “Updates” option and turn off (Disable) it.

Delete Downloaded Podcasts

  1. Go to Settings -> General.
  2. Find the iPhone Storage and click on it.
  3. Scroll down until you find the Podcasts and tap it.
  4. If you downloaded any episodes in that, you need to delete it one by one by swipe left and click Delete.

Transfer data to SanDisk Wireless Stick

  1. Download and install “Sandisk Connect Drive” app from App Store.
  2. Now switch on the SanDisk Wireless stick by simply press on it.
  3. Turn on “Wi-Fi” on your iPhone.
  4. Find the network “SanDisk Connect” on your device and connect it.
  5. Go to the SanDisk Connect Drive app.
  6. Now you can see the three lines at the top left of this app and click it.
  7. Go to settings -> Set Password to drive.
  8. Enable the security and set your password.
  9. Now you are ready to add the data into this app.
  10. Press the “+” icon then select the images or videos to add into it and click “Select Destination” at the bottom of the page.
