iPhone X Touch Screen is not working? Here's the fix

I bought iPhone X before 2 months. It was working well until yesterday. Suddenly touch screen is not working from this morning. I don’t know why. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t work.Then I googled and found some solutions to fix this issue. Here I am going to share those solutions with you.
Solution 1: Hard Reset/Force Restart

  1. Press Volume Up button and quickly release it. And then press Volume Down button and quickly release it.
  2. At last, press and hold the Slide button (Wake/Sleep button) until the Apple logo appears.iPhone x

Solution 2: Enable 3D Touch

  1. Go to “Settings”.
  2. Tap “General”.
  3. Tap “Accessibility”.
  4. Scroll down to find “3D Touch” option and then tap it.
  5. Make sure that 3D Touch is enabled. Turn on/toggle on 3D Touch if it is disabled.
  6. You can also adjust (Light, Medium, Firm) the 3D Touch Sensitivity using the slider. Keep the sensitivity in Medium. If it is already in medium, change it to “Firm”.disable 3d touch

Solution 3: Reset Factory Settings (Factory restore)
This process will erase all data from your mobile. So Before doing it take a back up your iPad or iPhone. After finishing this restore everything.

  1. Go to Settings->General->Reset.
  2. Select “Erase All Contents and Settings”. Enter passcode if it is required.
  3. Then you will be asked to enter Apple ID password. Enter it. The reset process will take 1 or 2 minutes.reset factory settings

Note: you can select either iTunes or iCloud to take a back up.
To take a back up,

  1. Launch Settings->iCloud.
  2. Make sure that  “iCloud Backup” is on.
  3. And tap on “Back Up Now”.

You can also Restore your iPhone using iTunes.
Solution 4: Restore your phone in DFU/Recovery Mode
Before doing it make sure that you took a Back Up. because this action will erase all data on your phone.

  1. Connect your iPhone X via Lightning (USB) cable to the Mac or PC.
  2. Open iTunes on your PC or MAC. Make sure that iTunes is upgraded to latest version.
  3. Press Volume Up button and quickly release it. And then Press Volume Down button and quickly release it.
  4. At last, press and hold the Slide button (Wake/Sleep button) until the Apple logo appears.
  5. Don’t leave it after seeing Apple logo appears.
  6. Keep holding until the recovery mode screen appears. A box will open with three option. Choose “Restore”. Wait until the process is finished.
  7. Then restart your device forcely (step 3 & 4).

Other solutions:

  1. Make sure that you have updated your iPhone X to the latest version of iOS.
  2. Check Apple warranty status. If your iPhone X covers warranty, take it to the Apple Service Center.
  3. Keep the phone’s screen clear and clean. Clean your finger before touching the screen.
  4. Change the protector of your screen (Tempered Glass) frequently.
  5. Use protective (back) case for your iPhone X.
