Lot of iPhone users reported this issue. App Store take lot of time to download apps over WiFi connection. But this issue not happened in Cellular data.
In Apple Music, music does not play continuously over WiFi network. But it works fines when using Cellular network.
Change the DNS server addresses on your home network to Open DNS.
Now App Sore downloading and updating should work like normal.
So how to change iPhone default DNS server settings?
- Open Settings app.
- Press WiFi Menu.
- Find the currently available WiFi network.
- On the right hand side corner of the network, tap the “i” button.
- Scroll down and find “DNS” section.
- Now Change the DNS server address.
