Siri’s Voice Won’t Download on iPhone – Here’s the Fix

I was trying to download another voice for Siri but I couldn’t because it stuck on downloading. It was really frustrating to me. Then I have tried some solutions to solve this problem. Somehow, the problem was fixed. Now, I can download any voices for Siri from my iPhone. Many iPhone users are having this issue on their iPhones. For those, I will tell you the solutions that I have tried. Ok, let’s try this solution to get rid of this issue.

Solution 1: Restart your iPhone

iPhone 8 Plus and Earlier

1. Press and hold the power button (Sleep/Wake) until you get a slider.
2. To turn off your device, drag the slider.
3. After a few seconds, again press and hold the power button until you get an Apple logo

iPhone X and Later

1. Press the Power Button and either Volume Up or Down Button until getting power off slider.
2. Then drag the slider to turn off your device.
3. Wait for 20 to 30 seconds.
4. To turn on your iPhone, press and hold the Power Button until getting an Apple Logo.

Solution 2: Reset Network Settings

1. Open Settings on your iPhone.
2. Tap “Reset”.
3. Then tap on the  “General”.
4. Tap “Reset Network Settings”.
5. Enter the passcode if prompted.
6. Again tap “Reset Network Settings” in the pop-up box to confirm.

Solution 3: Refresh Listen for “Hey Siri”

Enable and disable Listen for “Hey Siri” 5-6 times. Then try to change Siri’s voice.

1. Go to Settings on your iPhone.
2. Tap “Siri & Search”.
3. Now, Refresh the Listen for “Hey Siri”.

Solution 4: Check for Software Update

If you can’t downloading Siri’s voice, you have to update your phone.

1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
2. Tap “General”.
3. Tap “Software Update”.
4. Now, tap “Download and Install”.
5. Then follow the instruction to update your phone

Solution 5: Reset All Settings

1. Go to the Settings app on your iPhone.
2. Tap “General”.
3. Tap “Reset”.
4. Select “Reset All Settings”.
5. Enter the passcode if need.
6. Then tap “Reset All Settings” in the pop-up box to confirm.

Solution 6: Factory Reset your Phone

Before doing this back up your device. Because this action will erase all the information from your Phone.

1. Go to the Settings app on your iPhone.
2. Tap “General” -> “Reset”.
3. Now, select “Erase All Content and Settings”.
4. Enter the passcode if need.
5. Then tap “Erase Now” to the pop-up box.
6. Next, tap on the Erase iPhone option to confirm the action.

Solution 7: Try Different Networks

1. Go to the Settings.
2. If you are using Cellular data then turn OFF it and switch your network to a Wi-Fi network.
3. Then turn ON the Wi-Fi and connect the different networks.
4. Now try to download the Siri Voices.

Solution 8: Try to download other languages

1. Launch Settings.
2. Tap on General and select the Accessibility.
3. And select Speech then chooses Voices.
4. Now select the language that you want, next download the accent.
5. After that choice your Siri Voice.
