Fixed: Ring Volume is Very Low on iPhone X

Your phone ring volume is very low when you receive a call…? This post will help you to fix this issue.
Solution 1: check the ring volume

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Scroll down to find Sounds/Sounds & Haptics.
  3. Toggle on (turn on) Change with Buttons. And then adjust the ring volume to the high level.sounds haptics

Solution 2: turn off “Attention Aware Features”

  1. Launch “Settings”.
  2. Scroll down to find “Face ID & Passcode”.
  3. Turn off “Attention Aware Features”.attension aware

Now your phone will ring with high sound. When you turn off “Attention Aware Features”, TrueDepth camera will check for attention before lowering the volume of ringtone alerts or dimming the display
Solution 3: Turn off “Require Attention for Face ID”

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Tap “General”.
  3. Select “Accessibility”.
  4. Turn off (toggle off) “Require Attention for Face ID”.

Solution 4: Turn off “Do Not Disturb”

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Scroll down to find “Do Not Disturb” and tap it.
  3. Make sure that “Do Not Disturb” is turned off.

Solution 5: Don’t look at the phone continuously
If face detection algorithm of your iPhone X finds that you are looking at the phone, the ringtone will automatically go down.
The phone will ring automatically with high sound when you are not looking at the phone or the screen is off.
Solution 6: Soft restart

  1. Launch “Settings”.
  2. Tap “General”.
  3. Scroll down to find “Shut Down” and tap it. Then turn on your phone.

Solution 7: Hard Reset/Force Restart

  1. Press Volume Up button and quickly release it. And then Press Volume Down button and quickly release it.
  2. At last, press and hold the Slide button (Wake/Sleep button) until the Apple logo appears.

Other solutions:

  1. Check Apple warranty status. If your iPhone X covers warranty, take it to the Apple Service Center.
  2. Update your iPhone X to the latest version of iOS.
