Powerbeats Blinking Red and White While Charging? Why?

Powerbeats3: Up to 12 hours listening time left
White light
White light indicates that less than an hour left.
Blinking red light
Blinking red light indicates that less than 15 minutes listening time left and it needs to charge.

Red light while charging?
