iPhone XS, XS Max, XR Notifications Not Working

As you all know when you get any message or notification on iPhone, your iPhone makes vibration or sound and your screen wakes up. Many of them reporting that Notification alerts are not working. This is happening because of your iPhone’s software issue. Some iPhone has hardware issue also. First, find whether it is under hardware are a software issue. If it is a hardware issue then move to Apple support. In this article, I’m gonna share about what to do when iPhone XS, XS Max, XR Notifications Not Working. Hope this article will help you to solve your problem too.
Solution 1: Reset Your Device

  1. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the slide to power off screen appears.
  2. Drag the slider to turn off your device.
  3. Again press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until you see an Apple Logo.

Solution 2: Force Restart

  1. Press Volume Up button and then release it quickly.
  2. Press Volume Down button and then release it quickly.
  3. Finally, press and hold the Side button( Wake/Sleep button) until the Apple logo appears.

Solution 3: Turn Off Notification

  1. Launch Settings.
  2. Tap Do Not Disturb and then turn off it.
  3. Then select Activate into Manually.

Solution  4: Check Notification Preview

  1. Launch Settings.
  2. Scroll down to see Notification and then tap it.
  3. Tap Show Previews.
  4. Select “Always” option.
  5. And also you can manage notification settings for the individual app. In the Notification Style column.

Solution 5: Reset Network Setting

  1. Launch Settings > General.
  2. Scroll down and click “Reset”.
  3. Select Reset Network Settings.
  4. Enter your Password.
  5. Tap “Reset Network Settings” in the pop-up box to confirm.

Note: This action will delete all WiFi password APN & VPN settings of your iPhone.
Solution 6: Factory Reset

  1. Launch Settings.
  2. Scroll down to see General and then tap it.
  3. Again scroll down to see Reset and then tap it.
  4. Tap Erase All Content and Settings.
  5. Now the pop-up box will appear with 3 options. If you want to Backup your device then tap Back Up Then Erase.
  6. If you have already taken a Backup then tap Erase Now.
  7. Wait until the process gets finished.

Note: This fix will remove all data from your device. Therefore, it is advisable to take a backup.
Other Solution: Turn On the LED Flash Alerts

  1. Launch Settings.
  2. Scroll down to see General and then tap it.
  3. Tap Accessibility.
  4. Now tap LED Flash Alerts and then turn on it.
  5. It is a temporary solution only still you have the same problem then move to Apple Support.
