Fix: Notifications Disappearing From Lock Screen on iPhone and iPad – iOS 11



 
 
While I was seeing the phone, there is no notification from the lock screen. If anyone messages me, the message won’t appear. It’s annoying. One of my friends gave some method to solve this problem. Somehow I fixed this problem. Here I am going to tell you.
Solution 1:  Set Always Under Notifications

  1. Go to “Settings” -> tap “Notifications”.
  2. Tap “Show Previews” -> set “Always”.always - img
  3. Then click “Back”  Button.
  4. Under Notification Style, you can see the Apps.
  5. If you want some Apps notifications to appear on your lock screen, you should click the Apps.
  6. Then “turn on Allow Notification”.allow-img
  7. You can see the two type of notification. “Temporary” which is used to see the notification in 1 or 2 sec. Another one is “Persistent” which is used to see the notification in a long time.

Solution 2: Restart/Reset your iPhone or iPad
Force restart
Force restart/Hard Reset (till iPhone 6)

  1. Press and hold the Home Button.
  2. At the same time, press and hold the Wake/Sleep (Power) button at top right of the iPhone while holding the Home Button.
  3. Hold both buttons until the screen goes black and wait until the Apple logo appears.

Force restart/Hard Reset ( iPhone 7)

  1. Press and hold the Wake/Sleep (Power) button at the right of the iPhone.
  2. Press and hold the Volume Down button on the left side while holding the Wake/Sleep button.
  3. Wait until the Apple logo appears.

Force restart/Hard Reset ( iPhone 8 and iPhone X)

  1. Press Volume Up button and quickly release it. And then Press Volume Down button and quickly release it.
  2. At last, press and hold the Slide button (Wake/Sleep button) until the Apple logo appears.

Note: Don’t press Volume Up and Volume Down at the same time.
Solution 3:  Turn off Show History

  1. Go to “Settings” -> tap “Notifications”.
  2. Under Notification Style, you can see the Apps. Then select and go on any Apps and turn off “Show History”.his-img

Solution 4: Reset All Settings

  1. Go to “Settings” -> tap “General” -> tap “Reset” -> tap “Reset All Settings”.reset all
