No Sound On My iPhone After iOS 14 Update? Here’s the Fix

Fix 1: Check your iPhone Speaker

  1. Launch “Settings”.
  2. Tap “Sounds & Haptics”.
  3. Under “RINGER And ALERTS”, you can see the slider just move it to adjust the volume.

Fix 2: Check Whether iPhone is in Silent/Ring

  1. Look at the “Ring/Silent” switch at the side of your iPhone.
  2. Check whether your iPhone is in Silent or Ringer.
  3. If your iPhone is silent turn on “Ringer”.

Fix 3: Disable “Do Not Disturb”

  1. Launch “Settings”.
  2. Tap “Do Not Disturb”.
  3. Check whether the “Do Not Disturb” is Disabled or not. If it is enabled disable it.

Fix 4: Disable “Bluetooth”

  1. Launch “Settings”.
  2. Tap “Bluetooth”.
  3. Disable “Bluetooth” if it is Turned On.

Fix 5: Check Notification Settings for your App

  1. Launch “Settings”.
  2. Tap “Notifications”.
  3. Scroll to find the app which you need to adjust the sound.
  4. Tap the name of your app.
  5. Make sure “Notifications” and “Sounds” are enabled.

Fix 6: Plug and Unplug the Headphones

  1. Plug your headphones into the headset port.
  2. Check whether the audio is working or not.
  3. Then, plug out the headphones and listen for the audio.

Fix 7: Restart your iPhone

  1. Press and hold the Power Button until the slider appears.
  2. Drag the slider to turn off your device.
  3. After your iPhone turns off, press and hold the Power Button until the Apple Logo appears.

Fix 8: Update All the Apps

  1. Go to “App Store”.
  2. Search for Updates for that particular app.
  3. If you have any updates for that app, tap “Update”.

Fix 9: Update iOS version

  1. Go to Settings -> General -> Software Update.
  2. Click “Download and Install”.
  3. Enter the “Passcode”.

Fix 10: Reset All Settings

  1. Go to Settings -> General -> Reset.
  2. Tap “Reset All Settings”.
  3. Enter your iPhone Passcode again enter the Screen Time passcode.
  4. Tap on the “Reset All Settings” in the pop-up box.
