My iPhone Stuck While Preparing an Update? Here’s the Fix

Many of the iPhone users have the problem of “iPhone Stuck” and basically it happens when their “iPhone preparing to update”. But, it was a simple problem and you can easily solve using few solutions which are given by Apple Support. Here I gonna share you those fixes to get rid of this issue. Here are the Fixes,
Fix 1: Check Network Connection
If you are a Wi-Fi User,

  1. Go to “Settings”.
  2. Tap “Wi-Fi” and disable it.
  3. Wait for few minutes and enable it.

If you are a Mobile/Cellular data user,

  1. Open “Settings”.
  2. Tap “Mobile/Cellular data” and disable it.
  3. Wait for few minutes and enable it.

Fix 2: Force Restart your iPhone
For iPhone 6 and early

  1. Press and hold the “Home Button” and “Power Button” simultaneously.
  2. Hold both buttons until the screen turns to “black” and wait until the Apple Logo appears.

For iPhone 7
Press and hold the Power and Volume Down Button at the same time until the Apple logo appears.
For iPhone 8 and later

  1. Press the “Volume Up button” and release it.
  2. Press the “Volume Down button” and release it.
  3. Then, press and hold the “Side Button” until the Apple Logo appears.

Fix 3: Check iPhone Storage

  1. Open “Settings”.
  2. Tap “General”.
  3. Scroll down to find “About” and tap it.
  4. Here you can see “Capacity and Available” option, here you can check the storage.
  5. If your storage is full delete the unwanted files and apps.
  6. After deleting, clear the cache memory.
  7. Finally, remove old browser history data.

Fix 4: Delete the Update in iPhone Storage

  1. Launch “Settings”.
  2. Tap “General”.
  3. Tap “Software Update”.
  4. It will list the version of the software update.
  5. Find the version.
  6. Tap “Delete” Update.

Fix 5: Put iPhone into DFU Mode

  1. Connect your iPhone to the computer.
  2. Then, open iTunes.
  3. Now, turn off your iPhone.
  4. Press and hold the On/Off button on the right side of your device.
  5. Press and hold the “Volume Down Button” on your device while still holding down the side button.
  6. Keeps holding both buttons for 10 seconds.
  7. Next, release the On/Off Button but continue to hold the volume button for 5 seconds.
  8. If your device’ screen stays black, that means it has successfully entered DFU mode.
