Fixed: Contacts Not Syncing to Mac High Sierra


High Sierra update creates many issues on Mac each day. One of the important problem is Mac contacts not syncing to iCloud after High Sierra update. Here I am going to tell you how to solve this issue.
Before trying these Solutions,

  1. Restart your Mac.
  2. Make sure that you are using the same Apple ID on all your devices.

Solution 1: Sign Out of iCloud and then Sign In

  1. Go to Apple menu->System preference->iCloud.
  2. Tap “Sign Out”.
  3. Restart your Mac and then Sign in to iCloud.
  4. Go to Apple menu->System preference->iCloud.
  5. Enter your Apple ID & Password and then click “Sign In”.

Solution 2: Enable Contacts on iCloud

  1. Go to Apple menu->System preference->iCloud.
  2. Make sure that Contacts option is enabled. If it is disabled, enable it.

Solution 3: Refresh iCloud Contacts

  1. Go to Apple menu->System preference->iCloud.
  2. Untick “Contacts”.
  3. Sign out of iCloud.
  4. Wait for few seconds and then sign in to iCloud.
  5. Enable “Contacts”.

Solution 4: Check For Software Update

  1. Go to Apple menu->System Preferences->App Store.
  2. Click “Show Updates”.
  3. Then Download and Install available updates.

Solution 5: Set Date & Time to Automatic

  1. Go to Apple menu->System Preferences->Date & Time.
  2. Make sure that “Set date and time automatically” option is enabled.
  3. If it is not enabled, click the lock icon to make changes.
