Many iPhone X users have a complaint that the lock screen becomes blurry. They said this problem occurred after updating iOS 11. Here I am going to tell you the solutions to fix this issue. Solution 1: Restart your iPhone

  1. Press and hold the Side Button until the slider to power off screen appears (or) Go to Settings->General->Shut Down.
  2. Drag the slider to turn off your device.
  3. Press and hold the Power Button (Sleep/Wake) to turn it on.

Solution 2: Force Restart  (Hard Reset)

  1. Press the Volume Up button and quickly release it.
  2. Then press the Volume Down button and quickly release it.
  3. At last, press and hold the Side Button (Wake/Sleep) until the Apple logo appears.

Solution 3: Force Close Apps

  1. Swipe the screen up from the Home screen. You can see the recently closed apps.
  2. Press and hold the app firmly. Tap the ( – )symbol in the red circle at the left upper corner of the app or after seeing the ( – ) symbol in the red circle, swipe the app up to close the app.

Solution 4: Reset All settings

  1. Go to Settings->General->Reset.
  2. Tap “Reset All Settings”.
  3. Enter passcode if required and then tap “Reset All Settings” in the pop-up box.

Note: When you Reset All Settings, your iPhone will remove all Bluetooth pairing details, saved Wi-Fi Networks & passwords,  and APN & VPN settings.

Solution 5: Restore your iPhone to factory settings (Factory Reset)

Before resetting your iPhone to Factory Settings, take a Backup. Because this action will erase all data from your device.
To take a Backup,

  1. Connect your phone to a Wi-Fi or Cellular network.
  2. Launch Settings->Apple ID (your name)->iCloud->iCloud Backup.
  3. Make sure that iCloud Backup is turned on. Tap “Back Up Now”.

Wait until the process is finished. If the backup process is completed, you can see the date & time of the last backup under “Back Up Now”.

Factory Reset/Restore

  1. Go to Settings->General->Reset.
  2. Tap “Erase All Contents and Settings”.

  1. A pop-up box will appear with three options: Finishing Uploading Then Erase, Erase Now, and Cancel.
  2. If you want to take a Backup, tap “Finishing Uploading Then Erase”.
  3. If you have already taken a Backup, tap “Erase Now”.

Then restore your phone From iCloud and iTunes Backup.

Solution 6: Turn OFF Do Not Disturb 

  1. Launch Settings on your iPhone.
  2. Then scroll down the screen then tap on the Do Not Disturb mode.
  3. If it is toggled on then Kindly turn it off.

Other solutions:

  1. Try Reset All Settings.
  2. Check Apple warranty status. If your iPad covers a warranty, take it to the Apple Service Center.
  3. Make an Apple genius bar appointment.
