Location Services Greyed Out on iOS 12 (iPhone & iPad)? Here’s the fix

Many Apple users have a complaint that Location Services not working on their iPhone. Some people said that it has grayed out. One of the iPhone users said some solutions to fix this issue. Here I am going to share those solutions with you.
Why Location Services greyed out?
Main reason for Location Services greyed out is disabling Restrictions. So enable Restrictions for Location Services. It is very important for Location Services.
Solution 1: Enable Restrictions for Location Services

  1. Go to Settings->Screen Time->Content & Privacy Restrictions.
  2. Enter Screen Time Passcode (Restrictions Passcode).
  3. Turn on “Content & Privacy Restrictions”.
  4. Scroll down to find “Location Services” and tap it.
  5. Select “Allow Changes”.

Solution 2: Restart your device

  1. Press and hold the Power Button (Sleep/Wake) until the slide to power off screen appears.
  2. Drag the slider to turn off your device.
  3. To turn on your device, press and hold the Sleep/Wake Button until the Apple Logo appears.

Solution 3: Reset All Settings

  1. Go to Settings->General->Reset.
  2. Tap “Reset All Settings”.
  3. Enter your passcode and restrictions passcode.
  4. Tap “Reset All Settings”.
  5. Again tap “Reset all Settings” to confirm.

Note: This action will reset all Wi-Fi Networks & Passwords, APN & VPN Settings, and Cellular Settings of your iPhone.
Solution 4: Force Restart
iPhone 6 and earlier
Press and hold the Home Button and Power Button (Sleep/Wake) until the Apple Logo Appears.
iPhone 7 & 7 Plus
Press and hold the Side Button and Volume Down Button until the Apple Logo appears.
iPhone 8, 8 Plus, & X

  • Press the Volume Up Button and release it.
  • Press the Volume Down Button and release it.
  • Press and hold the Side Button until the Apple Logo appears.
