iPhone XS Overheating and Won't Turn On? Here's the fix


Overheating is the biggest issue on iPhone. It is a well known fact that we can’t see a phone without any problem. Some Apple users have a complaint that their iPhone won’t turn on when it gets hot. Here I am going to tell you the solutions to fix the issue iPhone XS overheated and won’t turn on.
Solution 1: Let your iPhone cool down

  1. Don’t turn on your iPhone When it gets hot. Sometimes, your iPhone won’t turn on if it gets hot.
  2. So keep your iPhone in a cool place. After your phone becomes cool, turn it on.
  3. Don’t place your iPhone in a hot place.

Solution 2: Force Restart

  1. Press the Volume Up Button and quickly release it.
  2. Press the Volume Down Button and quickly release it.
  3. Press and hold the Side Button for 30 seconds.iphone xs-overheating and won't turn on

Solution 3: Connect your iPhone to a power source

  1. Let your iPhone cool down.
  2. Connect your iPhone to a power source.
  3. When you see the charging screen, turn on your iPhone.

Solution 4: Check charging issues

  1. Make sure that you are using the charger that came with your iPhone. Don’t use third party USB power adapters and cables.
  2. Change the socket because the problem may be in socket. So try different outlets.

Solution 5: Update/Restore your iPhone in DFU/Recovery Mode

  1. Connect your iPhone to Mac/Computer via Lightning (USB) cable.
  2. Open iTunes on PC/Computer.
  3. Make sure that iTunes is updated to the latest version.
  4. Press the Volume Up Button and quickly release it.
  5. Press the Volume Down Button and quickly release it.
  6. Press and hold the Side Button until Recovery Mode (iTunes) screen appears.iPhone xs-overheated and won't turn on
  7. Select “Update” in the pop-up box. If you select “Update”, iTunes will try to reinstall iOS without deleting your data. Wait until the process is finished.
  8. Then Force Restart your iPhone.

Note: If it doesn’t work out, select “Restore” instead of “Update”.  If you select “Restore”, all data will be erased from your iPhone.
Solution 6: Don’t charge your iPhone

  1. Don’t charge your iPhone one or two weeks.
  2. Then connect your iPhone to a power source.
  3. When you see the charging screen, turn on your iPhone.
