iPhone XS Not Vibrating When Locked? Here’s the fix

iPhone XS not vibrating when locked…? Do you think, this is the biggest issue…? If yes, you are completely wrong. We can’t own the phone that doesn’t have any problem. There is a solution for every problem.  Likewise, this issue also has some solutions. Here I am going to share those solutions with you.
Solution 1: Refresh Vibration

  1. Open Settings->General->Accessibility.
  2. Scroll down to “Vibration” and tap it.
  3. Turn off “Vibration”.
  4. Restart your iPhone.
  5. Then turn on “Vibration”.

Solution 2: Force Restart

  1. Press the Volume Up Button and release it.
  2. Press the Volume Down Button and release it.
  3. Press and hold the Side Button until the Apple Logo appears.

Solution 3: Enable Vibrate on Ring and Vibrate on Silent

  1. Open Settings->Sounds & Haptics.
  2. Enable both “Vibrate on Ring” and “Vibrate on Silent”.
  3. There you can see many categories such as Ringtone, Text Tone, New Voicemail, New Mail, Sent Mail, Calendar Alerts, Reminder Alerts, and AirDrop under SOUNDS AND VIBRATION PATTERNS.
  4. Choose the category that is not vibrating when locked.
  5. Tap “Vibration”.
  6. Make sure that “None” is not selected. If you select “None”, vibration alert will be set to mute (Silent).
  7. Select any one of the Vibration alerts under STANDARD.
  8. Likewise, check this for all categories.

Solution 4: Check for Software Update

  1. Connect your iPhone to Wi-Fi.
  2. Launch Settings->General->Software Update.
  3. Tap “Download and Install” if update is available.

Solution 5: Reset All Settings

  1. Go to Settings->General->Reset.
  2. Tap “Reset All Settings”.
  3. Enter your passcode and restrictions passcode.
  4. Tap “Reset All Settings”.
  5. Again tap “Reset All Settings” to confirm.

Note: Reset All Setting will remove all Bluetooth pairing details, saved WI-Fi Networks & Passwords, and APN & VPN Settings.

Solution 6: Factory Reset
Restore your iPhone to factory settings will erase all data from your iPhone. So before doing it, back up your iPhone.
To back up your iPhone,

  1. Launch Settings.
  2. Tap on your Apple ID.
  3. Tap “iCloud”.
  4. Scroll down to “iCloud Backup” and tap it.
  5. Make sure that iCloud Backup is turned on.
  6. Tap “Back Up Now”.

To factory reset your iPhone,

  1. Open Settings->General->Reset.
  2. Tap “Reset All Contents and Settings”.
  3. Enter your Passcode if required.
  4. Tap “Erase iPhone”.
  5. Again tap “Erase iPhone” to confirm.
  6. Wait until your iPhone restarts and then set up your iPhone as new.
