iPhone XS Max Touch Screen Not Responding


Do have this iPhone XS Max touch screen not responding? If, yes I’m sure this article will help you. Don’t get more confused because you are not one getting this issue I too have the same issue. I tried some solutions to solve this problem and it works for me. So now I’m gonna share those steps with you. Hope it will useful for you.
Before entering to solution check whether you turn on Low Power Mode in your iPhone. Because it may take too long to respond.
Solution 1: Force Restart

  1. Press Volume Up button and then release it quickly.
  2. Press Volume Down button and then release it quickly.
  3. Finally, press and hold the Side button( Wake/Sleep button) until the Apple logo appears.

Solution 2: Check for Software Update

  1. Launch Settings > General.
  2. Tap on “Software Update”.
  3. If an Update is available, tap “Download and Install”.

If your iPhone screen does not work for doing this step then try to connect your
iPhone to Pc.

  1. Launch iTunes.
  2. Choose your iPhone and then tap Summary.
  3. Finally, tap Check for Update.
  4. Click Download and then Update.

Solution 3: Turn On/Off 3D Touch

  1. Launch Settings.
  2. Scroll down to see General and then tap it.
  3. Tap Accessibility.
  4. Turn off/on the 3D Touch.

Solution 4: Remove Your Tempered Glass
In case we use thick screen tempered or anti-glare protector may cause this issue.
So better remove it or use quality tempered glass.
Solution 5: Recovery Mode

  1. Connect your iPhone to Pc using the USB cable.
  2. Launch iTunes.
  3. Press and release the Volume Up button
  4. Press and release the Volume Down button
  5. Press and hold the power button until the Apple logo appears.

Finally, iTunes shows a message like “ There is a problem with the iPhone that requires an update” then click Update.
Solution 6: Restore your iPhone
Take Backup

  1. Connect your iPhone to Pc using the USB cable.
  2. Launch iTunes.
  3. Choose your iPhone and then tap Summary.
  4. Then tap Backup Now.
  5. Lastly, click Done.

Disable Find My iPhone

  1. Launch Settings on your iPhone.
  2. Tap your Profile.
  3. Select iCloud then turn off “Find My iPhone”.

To Restore

  1. Connect your iPhone to Pc using the USB cable.
  2. Launch iTunes.
  3. Choose your iPhone and then tap Summary.
  4. Finally, tap Restore iPhone.
  5. If required enter your passcode.
