iPhone XS Max Screen Brightness and Tint Problem – Fixed


Many iPhone XS Max users have been facing an issue that their screen doesn’t bright well. And Tint seems to be orange or yellowish. Do you have the same issue on your iPhone as well? Then read this article. I will tell you some solutions to solve this problem.
Solution 1: Turn On Color Filters

  1. Go to Settings -> General -> Accessibility -> Display Accommodations.
  2. Turn on Color Filters.
  3. Select “Color Tint”.
  4. Adjust the HUE slider by moving left or right side.
  5. Adjust the INTENSITY slider by moving left or right side.

Solution 2: Turn Off Reduce White Point

  1. Go to Settings -> General -> Accessibility -> Display Accommodations.
  2. Then turn off “Reduce White Point”.

Solution 3: Turn off True Tone

  1. Go to Settings -> Display and Brightness.
  2. Turn off “True Tone”.

Solution 4: Force Restart your Device

  1. Press the Volume Up button and release it.
  2. Press the Volume Down button and release it.
  3. Press and hold the Side button until the Apple Logo appears.

Solution 5: Try Smart Invert

  1. Go to Settings -> General -> Accessibility -> Display Accommodations.
  2. Tap “Invert Colors”.
  3. Turn on “Smart Invert”.

Solution 6: Reset All Settings

  1. Go to Settings -> General -> Reset.
  2. Tap “Reset All Settings”.

Solution 7: Restore your iPhone via iTunes
If above solutions didn’t work for you, try to restore your phone. This method will solve your problem. Before restoring, backup your iPhone. Because this action will erase your phone’s data.

  1. First, connect your iPhone to the Mac.
  2. Then open iTunes on your Mac.
  3. Click iPhone icon at the top.
  4. Now, click Summary tab at left corner.
  5. A pop-up box will appear to confirm the action and tap Restore.
  6. Then iTunes will restore your iPhone.
  7. When your phone restarts, you can see few options. You have to select “Set Up as New iPhone”.
