iPhone Xs Max Personal Hotspot Greyed Out

Personal Hotspot not working is the biggest issues nowadays. Because many of the iPhone users have experienced this issue while an update to the latest version or any other problem on your iPhone. Do you have this issue? Don’t worry… Luckily, Apple support gave the solutions to get rid of this problem. Here I gonna share you the fixes to solve this issue.
Solution 1: Restart iPhone

  1. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the slide to power off screen appears.
  2. Drag the slider to turn off your device.
  3. Again press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until you see an Apple Logo.

Solution 2: Make Sure if the Hotspot is On or Off

  1. Launch Settings.
  2. Tap Cellular and then Turn On it.
  3. Then choose “Personal Hotspot” and then turn on it.

Solution 3: Reset Network Settings

  1. Launch Settings > General.
  2. Scroll down and click “ Reset”.
  3. Select Reset Network Settings.
  4. Enter your Password.
  5. Tap “Reset Network Settings” in the pop-up box to confirm.

Note: This action will delete all WiFi password APN & VPN settings of your iPhone.
Solution 4: Check iPhone’s Name

  1. Launch Settings.
  2. Scroll down and to see General and then tap it.
  3. Tap About.
  4. Then tap Name to edit the name of your iPhone.

Solution 5: Update Carrier Settings

  1. Launch Settings.
  2. Scroll down to see General and then tap it.
  3. Tap About.
  4. Now tap Carrier. If an update available it will show.

Solution 6: Restore iPhone XS Max

  1. Launch an updated version of iTunes.
  2. Connect your iPhone Xs max to Mac.
  3. Then tap the BackUp tab.
  4. Now you can see Restore Backup option and then tap it.
  5. Select the device name and then tap the Restore tab.

Solution 7: Contact Apple Support
If your device is under any warranty status, then you can Contact Apple Support for further Repair or Replacement.
