iPhone XS Max Apps Crashing Issue

Some of iPhone XS Max users reporting that Apps crashing. Particularly Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, WhatsApp, YouTube are randomly crashing. If you are not one person facing this problem I too had the same problem and I tired some steps to overcome it. And it works for me. So now i’m gonna share those steps with you. Hope it will useful for you.

Solution 1: Reboot Your Device

  1. Press Volume Up button and then release it quickly.
  2. Press Volume Down button and then release it quickly.
  3. Finally, press and hold the Side button( Wake/Sleep button) until the Apple logo appears.

Solution 2: Force Quit Apps

  1. Double click “Home Button”.
  2. Here you can see the all closed apps.
  3. Then swipe the app to close.

Solution  3: Update the App on iPhone

  1. Launch App Store.
  2. Tap Update icon at the bottom right corner.
  3. Then tap Update All button at the top corner.
  4. Enter your Passcode and wait for few seconds  for update.

Solution 4: Uninstall and Reinstall the app

Uninstall and reinstall app may solve this issue. If any particular app get crashing then follow the  upcoming steps

To Uninstall

  1. Hold the app icon for few seconds that you want to uninstall .
  2. Then tap X at the left corner of the app icon.
  3. Now tap Delete then your app will be uninstalled.

To Reinstall:

  1. Launch App Store.
  2. Find the app that you want to install.
  3. Then tap Download.

Solution 5: Software Update

  1. Launch Settings->General.
  2. Tap on “Software Update“.
  3. If an Update is available, tap “Download and Install”.

Solution 6: Reset All Settings

Launch Settings > General.

Scroll down to see Reset and then tap it.

Tap “Reset all Settings”.

Enter passcode if required and then tap “Reset All Settings” in Pop-up box to confirm the action.
