iPhone XS, XR and XS Max Overheating Near Camera [Fixed]


Many iPhone users have been complaining that their iPhone XS Max getting overheat and won’t turn on. It’s one of the irritating issues in iPhone. Do you have this same problem on your iPhone? Solution 1: Force Restart

  1. Press Volume Up button and quickly release it.
  2. Press Volume Down button and quickly release it.
  3. Press and hold the Side button until the Apple Logo appears.

Note: Don’t press the Volume Up and Volume Down button at the same time.
Solution 2: Check for Software Update

  1. Go to Settings on your iPhone.
  2. Tap “General”.
  3. Scroll down the page to find “Software Update” and tap it.
  4. If there any update is available, you just click “Download and Install”.
  5. Then follow the instruction to complete this process.

Solution 3: Turn Off Background App Refresh
Many iPhone users said that disabling Background App Refresh solves overheat issue on iPhone. So, you can try out this method.

  1. Go to Settings app on your iPhone.
  2. Tap “General”.
  3. Tap “Background App Refresh”.
  4. Now, turn off Background App Refresh.

Solution 4: Turn Off Wi-Fi and Bluetooth

  1. Open control center on your iPhone by swipe down your screen from top to bottom.
  2. Here, you can turn off Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

Solution 5: Turn Off Mobile Data
When your phone is getting heat, turn off cellular data. Turn on it when it’s cool.

  1. Go to Settings on your iPhone.
  2. Tap “Mobile Data”.
  3. Now, turn it off.

Solution 6: Force Close All Apps

  1. Swipe up the screen from bottom left corner to the middle of the screen. When you will get the closed apps, leave your fingers from the screen.
  2. Either you can hold the app until seeing the minus symbol and tap on the minus symbol to close the app or swipe up the app to close.

Solution 7: Enable Low Power Mode
When your phone has the low battery that time you can enable this Low Power Mode for preventing your phone from Power consumption.

  1. Open Settings -> Battery.
  2. Then turn on “Low Power Mode.

Solution 8: Turn Off Location Services
Disable Location Services for some apps when you are not using. You can select either “Never” or “While Using the App”. To do this,

  1. Go to Settings app on your iPhone.
  2. Tap “Privacy”.
  3. Tap “Location Services”.
  4. Select an app which you want to disable Location Services.

Solution 9: Reset All Settings

  1. Go to Settings on your iPhone.
  2. Tap General -> Reset.
  3. Choose “Reset All Settings”.
  4. Enter the passcode of your iPhone if prompted.
  5. Again tap “Reset All Settings” in the pop-up box to confirm.

Solution 10: Factory Reset your Device

  1. Go to Settings on your iPhone.
  2. Tap “General”.
  3. Now, tap “Reset”.
  4. Select “Erase All Content and Settings”.
  5. Enter the passcode of your phone if prompted.
  6. Again tap “Reset All Settings” in the pop-up box to confirm.
