iPhone XS and XS Max Keeps Freezing – Here’s the Fix


Some iPhone XS and XS Max users have faced freezing issue often. It happens many times a day. I think it’s too irritating to use iPhone because of this freezing issue. Do you think this problem for a whole day? How to get rid of this? You don’t need to worry about this problem. Yes, Here I am going to tell you some useful solutions to solve this problem.
Solution 1: Hard Reset your Device

  1. Press the Volume Up button and release it.
  2. Press the Volume Down button and release it.
  3. Press and hold the Side button until the Apple logo appears.

Note: Don’t press the Volume Up and Volume Down button at the same time.
Solution 2: Reset Network Settings

  1. Go to Settings -> General -> Reset.
  2. Select “Reset Network Settings”.
  3. Enter the passcode if required.

Solution 3: Reset All Settings

  1. Go to Settings -> General -> Reset.
  2. Tap “Reset All Settings”.
  3. Enter your restriction passcode.
  4. Tap “Reset All Settings” in the pop-up box.
  5. Again tap “Reset All Settings” in the pop-up box to confirm.

Solution 4: Force Close All Apps
If any apps running on the background, force close that. To close,

  1. Swipe up the screen from bottom left corner to the middle of the screen. When you will get the closed apps, leave your fingers from the screen.
  2. Either you can hold the app until seeing the minus symbol and tap on the minus symbol to close the app or swipe up the app to close.

Solution 5: Update iOS

  1. Go to Settings -> General -> Software Update.
  2. If an update available here, you just click “Download and Install”.
  3. Then follow the instruction to update.

Solution 6: Update Apps

  1. If a new update is available for apps, you just update all apps. Sometimes, this problem happens in the old version of apps.
  2. To check, go to the “App Store” -> “Updates” tab.
  3. If an update is available for apps, tap the “Update” button.

Solution 7: Restore your iPhone via iTunes
If the above solutions didn’t work for you, try to restore your phone. This method will solve your problem. Before restoring, backup your iPhone. Because this action will erase your phone’s data.

  1. First, connect your iPhone to the Mac.
  2. Then open iTunes on your Mac.
  3. Click iPhone icon at the top.
  4. Now, click the Summary tab at left corner.
  5. A pop-up box will appear to confirm the action and tap Restore.
  6. Then iTunes will restore your iPhone.
  7. When your phone restarts, you can see a few options. You have to select “Set Up as New iPhone”.
