iPhone XS and XS Max Contacts Missing – Fixed

iPhone contacts are most important for everyone. If it’s missing, we feel really bad. May iPhone users have been complaining that their contacts missing on iPhone XS and XS Max. Do you have this same problem? Why would you feel for that? It’s not a big issue. I will tell you some solutions to solve this problem.
Solution 1: Force Restart your iPhone

  1. Press and release Volume Up button.
  2. Press and release Volume Down button.
  3. Press and hold the Side button until the Apple logo appears.

Solution 2: Sign Out and Sign Back into your Apple ID
This method may solve this problem. To sign out,

  1. Go to Settings on your iPhone.
  2. Tap on your “Apple ID banner”.
  3. Scroll down the page to the end and tap “Sign Out”.
  4. Now, restart your phone.
  5. Then use the same steps to Sing in back with iCloud.

Solution 3: Turn on Contacts and off on iCloud

  1. Go to Settings app on your iPhone.
  2. Tap on your Apple ID.
  3. Now, tap “iCloud”.
  4. Under “APPS USING iCloud”, you can see “Contacts” and turn off it. Wait for few seconds and turn it on back.

Solution 4: Reset Network Settings

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone.
  2. Tap “General”.
  3. Tap “Reset”.
  4. Now, tap “Reset Network Settings”.
  5. Enter the passcode if prompted.
  6. Again tap “Reset Network Settings” in the pop-up box to confirm.

Solution 5: Check for Software Update

  1. Go to Settings on your iPhone.
  2. Tap “General”.
  3. Scroll down the page to find “Software Update”.
  4. If there an update is available, tap “Download and Install”.

Solution 6: Reset All Settings

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone.
  2. Tap “General” -> “Reset”.
  3. Then select “Reset All Settings”.
  4. Enter the passcode if need.
  5. Again tap “Reset All Settings” in the pop-up box to confirm.

Solution 7: Change Groups Settings

  1. Open Contacts on your iPhone.
  2. At top left corner, tap “Groups”.
  3. Now, select “All on my iPhone”.
  4. Then tap “Done”.

Solution 8: Restore your Contacts from iTunes Backup

  1. First, connect your iPhone to Mac via USB cable.
  2. Now, open “iTunes”.
  3. Choose your device from Device List. From the Summary Page select the most recent backup date of your phone.
  4. Then click “Restore Backup”.

Solution 9: Restore your iPhone with Recovery Mode

  1. First, connect your iPhone to the Mac or PC through USB cable.
  2. After it connects, press and quickly release the Volume Up button.
  3. Now, press and quickly release the Volume Down button.
  4. Then press and hold the Power/Side button until it restarts. Don’t leave this button until your phone gets into Recovery mode.
  5. Release this button when you see your phone connect to iTunes.
  6. In the iTunes window, it shows your iOS device is in recovery mode. There you can see two options that Update or Restore.
  7. Select “Restore”.
  8. You have to wait until the process is completed.
