iPhone XS Alarm Volume Too Loud? Here’s the fix

Many Apple users have a complaint that Alarm volume too loud on their iPhone XS. They said when the Alarm sounds, it will pierce their ears and they don’t know the way to reduce the alarm volume. Here I am going to tell you the solutions for iPhone XS alarm volume too loud.
Solution 1: Reduce the alarm volume
As you all know, Alarm comes under Alerts. You can’t separate the Ringer and Alerts volume. When you increase the Ringer volume, Alerts Volume will be increased automatically. So reduce the Ringer and Alerts volume to reduce the Alarm volume.

  1. Open Settings->Sounds & Haptics.
  2. Reduce the Alarm volume using the Ringer and Alerts slider.

Solution 2: Delete the Alarm

  1. Delete all alarms and restart your iPhone.
  2. Again make an Alarm and delete it.
  3. Restart your iPhone.
  4. Now make an Alarm and check the volume.

Solution 3: Reduce Bedtime Alarm volume
If you are using Bedtime Alarm, you can reduce the alarm volume using this method.

  1. Open Clock app.
  2. Select Bedtime tab.
  3. Tap “Options”.
  4. Tap “Wake-Up Sound”.
  5. Select a Wake-Up Sound for your alarm. You can choose mild wake up sound for the alarm.
  6. Go back to Bedtime Options.
  7. Reduce the Bedtime Alarm volume using the slider.
  8. Tap “Done” at the right-upper corner of the screen.

Solution 4: Force Restart

  1. Press the Volume Up Button and release it.
  2. Press the Volume Down Button and release it.
  3. Press and hold the Side Button until the Apple Logo appears.

Solution 5: Reset All Settings

  1. Go to Settings->General->Reset.
  2. Tap “Reset All Settings”.
  3. Enter your passcode and restrictions passcode.
  4. Tap “Reset All Settings”.
  5. Again tap “Reset All Settings” to confirm.
  6. Wait until your iPhone restarts.

Note: Reset All Settings will remove all Bluetooth pairing details, saved WI-Fi Networks & Passwords, and APN & VPN Settings.

Solution 6: Factory Reset
Restore your iPhone to factory settings will erase all data from your iPhone. So before doing it, back up your iPhone.
To back up your iPhone,

  1. Launch Settings.
  2. Tap on your Apple ID.
  3. Tap “iCloud”.
  4. Scroll down to “iCloud Backup” and tap it.
  5. Make sure that iCloud Backup is turned on.
  6. Tap “Back Up Now”.

To factory reset your iPhone,

  1. Open Settings->General->Reset.
  2. Tap “Reset All Contents and Settings”.
  3. Enter your Passcode if required.
  4. Tap “Erase iPhone”.
  5. Again tap “Erase iPhone” to confirm.
  6. Wait until your iPhone restarts and then set up your iPhone.
