iPhone X, XS, XS MAX and XR Apps Won’t Jiggle to Delete? Here’s the Fix


Many of the iPhone users have a complaint that their iPhone often getting issues. The most common issue is “iPhone X, XS, XS MAX and XR Apps Won’t jiggle to delete”. Do you have this issue? Fix 1: Restart your iPhone

  1. Press and hold the Power Button until the slider appears.
  2. Drag the slider to turn off your device.
  3. After your iPhone turns off, press and hold the Power button until the Apple Logo appears.

Fix 2: Check Whether your Touch Screen is working or not

  1. Don’t press the icon very hard.
  2. Hold the app until it jiggles.
  3. To stop jiggle press “Done” at the top right corner of the screen.

Fix 3: Change Delete App Restriction on iPhone

  1. Launch “Settings”.
  2. Tap “General”.
  3. Tap “Restriction”.
  4. Enter your passcode.
  5. Then, Enable Deleting apps toggle.

Fix 4: Change in 3D Touch Sensitivity.

  1. Tap Settings -> General -> Accessibility.
  2. Select “3D Touch”.
  3. Use Slider for change in 3D Touch Sensitivity or Disable 3D Touch.

Fix 5: Reset Home Screen Layout

  1. Open “Settings”.
  2. Tap “General”.
  3. Choose “Reset”.
  4. Tap “Reset Home Screen Layout”.

Fix 6: Check for Software Update

  1. Go to Settings -> General -> Software Update.
  2. Click “Download and Install”.
  3. Enter the “Passcode”.
  4. Then, it will download and install the current version of iOS.

Fix 6: Restore iPhone to Factory Settings
Before doing this action you need to back up all the data on your iPhone XR because this action will erase all the data.
To back up,

  1. Connect your iPhone to Wi-Fi or Cellular Data.
  2. Open “Settings”.
  3. Tap your “Apple iD” banner.
  4. Tap “iCloud”.
  5. Scroll down to find “iCloud Backup” and tap it.
  6. Enable “iCloud Backup”.
  7. Tap “Back Up Now”. wait until this process completes.

To Factory Restore iPhone XR,

  1. Go to Settings -> General -> Reset.
  2. Tap “Erase All Content and Settings”.
  3. Enter your Passcode if required.
  4. Tap “Erase iPhone” in the pop-up box.
  5. Tap “Erase iPhone” to confirm.
  6. Wait until your iPhone your iPhone restarts and then set up your iPhone as new.
