iPhone X Low Call Volume? Here’s the fix

I bought iPhone X before 5 months. In the beginning, everything was fine. Suddenly call volume became too low. I don’t know why. My friend suggested me to try some solutions to fix this issue. Here I am going to share those solutions with you.
Solution 1: Restart your device

  1. Press and hold the Slide Button until “slide to power off” screen appears (or) Go to Settings->General->Shut Down.
  2. Drag the slider to turn off your device.
  3. To turn on your device, press and hold the Slide Button until the Apple Logo appears.

Solution 2: Adjust the volume
Adjust the volume using volume buttons while speaking on a  phone call. Raise the volume using volume up button.
Before adjusting the volume using volume buttons, make sure that “Change with Buttons” option is enabled.

  1. Go to Settings->Sounds/Sounds & Haptics.
  2. Turn on “Change with Buttons”.

Solution 3: Force restart

  1. Press the Volume Up Button and release it.
  2. Press the Volume Down Button and release it.
  3. Press and hold the Side Button until the Apple Logo appears.

Solution 4: Enable “Phone Noise Cancellation”

  1. Go to Settings->General->Accessibility.
  2. Scroll down to find “Phone Noise Cancellation” and turn it on.

Solution 5: Set “Call Audio Routing” to Automatic

  1. Go to Settings->General->Accessibility.
  2. Scroll down to find “Call Audio Routing” and tap it.
  3. You can see three options. Select “Automatic”.

Call audio routing determines where audio will be heard during a phone call or FaceTime audio.
Solution 6: Check the Receiver
Make sure that nothing has blocked the receiver such as Back Case and Screen Protector (Tempered Glass).
Take off the plastic Film/Cover (front & back) that comes along with a new mobile.
Clean the receiver. Because it may block with dust/debris. Use a small, soft-bristled brush to clean it. The brush should be clean and dry.
Turn on the loudspeaker (speakerphone) while speaking on a call and check whether you can hear the calls clearly or not. If you still can’t hear clearly on calls, it could be the network problem. So go to different locations and check.
Solution 7: Check the Connections
If you have plugged anything (headset) into the dock connector or the headphone jack, you can’t hear anything through your phone receiver.
If you have plugged anything like that, remove it and check the volume.
Solution 8: Disable “Bluetooth”

  1. Go to Settings->Bluetooth.
  2. Turn off “Bluetooth”.

Solution 9: Check for Software Update

  1. Connect your iPhone to Wi-Fi or Cellular Data.
  2. Go Settings->General->Software Update.
  3. Tap “Download and Install” if update is available.

  2. Launch Settings->Apple ID (your name)->iCloud->iCloud Backup.

  5. If you have already taken a Backup, tap “Erase Now”.
  6. Wait until the process is finished.
