iPhone Won’t Make or Receive Calls But Can Text

As you all know, we need to face a lot of problems after updating your iPhone to the latest iOS version. Some of the iPhone users complained that their iPhone won’t make or receive any calls but they can text. Luckily, this was a simple issue and you can solve this problem by performing a few solutions. Here, I gonna share you some easy solutions to get rid of this problem efficiently.
Solution 1: Restart your iPhone

  1. Press and hold the Power Button until the slider appears.
  2. Swipe the “slide to power off” slider to power off your device.
  3. Then again press and hold the Power Button to switch on your device.

Solution 2: Turn On and Off Airplane mode

  1. Go to “Settings”.
  2. Turn on “Airplane Mode” and wait for few minutes.
  3. Then, turn off  “Airplane Mode”.

Solution 3: Do Not Disturb

  1. Go to “Settings”.
  2. Find “Do Not Disturb” and turn it off.

Solution 4: Check Blocked Phone Numbers
If you blocked any numbers on your iPhone, you can’t make or receive calls from/to those numbers. So check the blocked list.

  1. Go to “Settings”.
  2. Scroll down to find “Phone”.
  3. Then tap on “Call Blocking & Identification”.

Solution 5: Check Call Forwarding

  1. Open Settings->Phone->Call Forwarding.
  2. Make sure that Call Forwarding option is turned off.

Solution 6: Update Carrier Settings

  1. Connect your iPhone to Mobile Data or Wi-Fi.
  2. Go to Settings -> General -> About.
  3. Tap “Update” in the pop-up box if available.

Solution 7: Check for Software Update

  1. Connect your iPhone to Wi-Fi.
  2. Open Settings->General->Software Update.
  3. Tap “Download and Install” if an update is available.

Solution 8: Remove and reinsert the SIM card

  1. Open the SIM tray by using the pin that comes with your iPhone.
  2. Take out the SIM card.
  3. Make sure that your SIM is not scratched or damaged.
  4. Then, reinsert the SIM card into the tray and close it.

Solution 9: Reset Network Settings

  1. Go to Settings -> General -> Reset.
  2. Select “Reset network settings”.
  3. Enter the Passcode.
  4. Click “Reset Network Settings” in the pop-up box.
  5. Now, your iPhone will Restart.

Solution 10: Reset All Settings

  1. Open Settings->General->Reset.
  2. Select “Reset All Settings”.
  3. Enter your Passcode and Restrictions Passcode.
  4. Tap “ Reset All Settings” in the pop-up box.
  5. Again tap “Reset All Settings” to confirm.

Other Solutions:

  1. Try to make or receive calls from different locations.
  2. Restore your iPhone to factory setting
