Fixed: Brightness Dim on iPhone 8, X


Some of iPhone users had reported a problem that the brightness level on their device doesn’t work fine. It seems to be a frustrating issue for you. Here, I am going to share some tricks with you to get rid of this iPhone Screen brightness issue.
Fix 1: Turn Off Reduce White Point

  1. Launch Settings -> General.
  2. Tap on Accessibility.
  3. Then tap on Display Accommodations (at the top of your screen)
  4. You will be able to see a Reduce White Point option (at the bottom of your screen)
  5. Turn Off Reduce White Point.

Fix 2: Turn Off Zoom

  1. Go to Settings -> General.
  2. Tap on Accessibility.
  3. Then choose Zoom.
  4. Finally, turn off Zoom and then reboot your device.

Fix 3: Turn Off and then Turn On Auto-Brightness

  1. Launch Settings -> General.
  2. Tap on Accessibility-> Display Accommodations.
  3. Now turn off Auto-Brightness.
  4. Wait for few seconds.
  5. Then again turn on back Auto-Brightness on your device.

Fix 4: Lower Screen Brightness

  1. Launch Settings -> Display & Brightness.
  2. Turn Off Auto- Brightness to the lower level.

Fix 5: Restart your device

  1. Press and hold the Side button and either Volume button until the slider appears.
  2. Now drag the slider to turn off your device.
  3. Finally, again press and hold the Side button until you see an Apple Logo on your screen.

Fix 6: Reset All Settings
Note: Before doing this fix, it is advisable to take backup all of your data.

  1. Launch Settings -> General.
  2. Tap on Reset -> Reset All Settings.

Fix 7: Change the Zoom Settings

  1. Go to Settings-> Display & Brightness.
  2. Scroll down to see display Zoom.
  3. Now click on View.
  4. Then change to Zoomed and then click Set.
  5. Finally, choose Standard and then click Set again.

If the issue occurred after updating iOS, then try downgrading your iOS and check what happens.
Fix 9: Contact Apple Store
