Fixed: iPhone photos Not saving to camera Roll


One of the newsreaders finds a wired issue in iPhone. The issue is, if you take huge pictures, none of the pictures getting saved to the Camera Roll. Here given some solutions how to fix iPhone Photos not saving to camera roll.
Solution 1: Restart your phone

  1. Restart your phone.
  2. Open the camera app, take a photo and press the thumbnail to view the photo you just took.
  3. Share the photo via iMessage and then restart your iPhone.

Solution 2: Turn on “My Photo Stream”

  1. Go to Settings -> Photos & Camera.
  2. Turn on “My Photo Stream”.
  3. Turn it off again.

The camera obviously resets the permissions and “invisible” photos are visible again.
Solution 3: Use iMessage

  1. Restart your phone.
  2. Open the camera app, take a photo and press the thumbnail to view the photo you just took.
  3. Share the photo via iMessage and then restart your iPhone.

Solution 4: Reset all Settings.

Photos weren’t  saved to camera rolls. At the time, the photos were blurry. You can solve this problem by resetting all the settings.
How to Reset all the Settings
Go to Settings -> General -> Reset -> Reset All Setting.
Solution 5: Download Mobile Terminal

Start the app: on the prompt type: su root <HIT RETURN>
Password: alpine <HIT RETURN>
type:cd/var/mobile/Media<HIT RETURN>
then type: Chown -R mobile DCIM <HIT RETURN>
Go to sort and then take a picture. You haven’t deleted any picture folders previously, you should be able to see all the pictures taken in past.
Another way to fix photos not saving to Camera roll on iPhone or iPad
Step 1: Restart your iPhone or iPad.
Step 2: Open the Camera app from your Home screen.
Step 3: Take a picture using Photo mode.
Step 4: Click on the thumbnail in the bottom left corner to view photo which you just captured.
Step 5: Click on the share button at the bottom and send the image to one of your contacts via iMessage.
Step 6: Restart your iPhone again.
If you restart your iPhone, the issue will be fixed and all your new photos should be saved to the Camera Roll.
