Solved: iPhone Music Widget Stuck on Lock Screen


Many of iPhone user faced this issue that iPhone music widget stuck on the lock screen.  I too had this problem. It’s annoying. I told this issue to my friend. So, she gave some method to resolve this problem. Luckily, I fixed this issue. If you are having this problem, read this article.
Method 1: Force Quit your Music App

  1. You just close the app on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. For that, double tap the Home Button and then close the app.close-img
  3. On your iPhone X, swipe up the screen. Select the one which you want to close. Tap and hold it and click the red minus symbol to remove the app.
  4. After that check, your lock screen and your problem will be solved. If still, you have this problem, read the next method.

Method 2: Restart/Reset your iPhone or iPad
Force restart
Force restart/Hard Reset (till iPhone 6)

  1. Press and hold the “Home Button”.
  2. At the same time, press and hold the “Wake/Sleep (Power) button” at the top right of the iPhone while holding the “Home Button”.
  3. Hold both buttons until the screen goes “black” and wait until the “Apple logo” appears.

Force restart/Hard Reset ( iPhone 7)

  1. Press and hold the “Wake/Sleep (Power) button” at the right of the iPhone.
  2. Press and hold the “Volume Down button” on the left side while holding the “Wake/Sleep button”.
  3. Wait until the “Apple logo” appears.

Force restart/Hard Reset ( iPhone 8 and iPhone X)

  1. Press “Volume Up button” and quickly release it. And then Press “Volume Down button” and quickly release it.
  2. At last, press and hold the “Slide button (Wake/Sleep button)” until the “Apple logo” appears.

Note: Don’t press “Volume Up” and “Volume Down” at the same time.
Method 3: Delete the Music App and Reinstall it

  1. This method may resolve your problem. For that, you just delete the app and again reinstall it.
  2. You just tap and hold the Music App. Then the app will be wiggling and click on the “X” button. The pop-up box will be appeared to confirm to delete the app and you just tap “delete”.delete-image
  3. On your iPhone X, tap and hold the app and you can see the “done” at the right upper corner and you just click it.

Method 4: Unpair the device from Bluetooth

  1. Launch “Settings” app on your device.
  2. Click on the “Bluetooth”.
  3. Now, you have to click on the “i” button next to Car Stereo.i-image
  4. Then click on the “Forget this Device” and confirm it.forgot-image
  5. Next, open the “Settings” on your Car Stereo. Then unpair your device and reboot it.

Method 5: Turn off Show Apple Music

  1. Launch “Settings” app on your device.
  2. Then tap on the “Music”.
  3. Turn off “Show Apple Music”.show-apple
