iPhone 8 and 8 Plus Low Call Volume? Here's the fix

Call volume is very low on my iPhone 8. I don’t know why. I just bought it before 2 months. One of my friend suggested some solutions to fix this issue. If you have the same problem, this article will help you to fix it.
Solution 1: Restart your device

  1. Press and hold the Slide Button until “slider to power off” screen appears (or) Go to Settings->General->Shut Down.
  2. Drag the slider to turn off your device.
  3. To turn on your device, press and hold the Slide Button until the Apple Logo appears.

Solution 2: Adjust the volume
Adjust the volume using volume buttons while speaking on a call.
Raise the volume using volume up button. You can see volume indicator on the screen while adjusting the volume. If it is not shown, the problem is in the Volume buttons not in your phone.
Solution 3: Enable “Phone Noise Cancellation”

  1. Go to Settings->General->Accessibility.
  2. Scroll down to find “Phone Noise Cancellation” and turn on it.phone noise cancellation

you can adjust the audio volume using the slider. Drag the slider to increase the volume.
Solution 4: Set “Call Audio Routing” to Automatic

  1. Go to Settings->General->Accessibility.
  2. Scroll down to find “Call Audio Routing” and tap it.
  3. You can see three options. Select “Automatic”.call audio routing

Call audio routing determines where audio will be heard during a phone call or FaceTime audio.
Solution 5: Check the Receiver
Make sure that nothing has blocked the receiver such as Back Case and Screen Protector (Tempered Glass).
Take off the plastic Film/Cover (front & back) that comes along with a new mobile.
Clean the receiver opening because it may block with dust/debris. Use a small, soft-bristled brush to clean it. The brush should be clean and dry.
Turn on the loudspeaker (speakerphone) while speaking on a call and check whether you can hear the calls clearly or not. If you still can’t hear clearly on calls, it could be the network problem. So go to different locations and check.
Solution 6: Check the Connections
If you have plugged anything (headset) into the dock connector or the headphone jack, you can’t hear anything through your phone receiver.
If you have plugged anything like that, remove it and check the volume.
Solution 7: Force Restart

  1. Press Volume Up button and quickly release it. And then Press Volume Down button and quickly release it.
  2. At last, press and hold the Slide button (Wake/Sleep) until the Apple logo appears.

Note: Don’t press Volume Up and Volume Down at the same time.
Solution 8: Disable “Bluetooth”

  1. Go to Settings->Bluetooth.
  2. Turn off “Bluetooth”.

Solution 9: Restore your phone in DFU/Recovery Mode
Before doing it, take a Backup. Because this action may erase all data on your phone.

  1. Connect your iPhone 7 via Lightning (USB) cable to the Mac or PC.
  2. Open iTunes on your PC or MAC. Make sure that iTunes is upgraded to latest version.
  3. Press Volume Up button and quickly release it. And then Press Volume Down button and quickly release it.
  4. At last, press and hold the Slide button (Wake/Sleep button) until the recovery mode screen appears. A box will open with three options. Choose “Restore”. Wait until the process is finished.
  5. Restart your device forcely (step 3 & 4) and then set up your phone.
