Fixed: My iPhone keeps dropping/cutting out during phone calls


I am using iPhone 6. Sometimes my iPhone cutting out phone calls. It doesn’t happen to all phone calls. My phone is ringing. When I try to pick, the call is dropping. I don’t know why. I tried some solutions to fix this issue. Here I am going to tell you those solutions. You use these solutions for iPad too.
devices: iPhone 5, 6, 7, 8, 8 Plus, and X.
Solution 1: Reset Network settings

  1. Go to Settings->General->Reset.
  2. Select “Reset Network Settings” under Reset
  3. Enter passcode if required and confirm the action.reset network setting

Solution 2: Turn off VoLTE

  1. Launch Settings->Cellular->Enable LTE.
  2. Tap “Data Only”.disable volt

Solution 3: Turn off “Phone Noise Cancellation”

  1. Navigate to Settings->General->Accessibility.
  2. Scroll down to get “Phone Noise Cancellation” under “Hearing”.
  3. Disable “Phone Noise Cancellation”.phone noise cancellation

Solution 4: Force Restart
Restarting phone will solve many issues on your device.
First, try Force Restart. If it is not worked out, try Soft Restart.
Solution 5: Restore your iPhone using iClouds

  1. Eject (remove) the SIM card from your mobile.
  2. Open iTunes on your PC or MAC. Make sure that iTunes is upgraded to latest version.
  3. Connect your iPhone or iPad via data (USB) cable to the Mac.
  4. Tap your iPhone icon when it shows on iTunes.
  5. Select Summary tab and tap “Restore iPhone”.
  6. A new box will open to ask to confirm the action. Tap “Restore”. And then iTunes will restore your iPhone.
  7. Turn off your iPhone.
  8. Insert a SIM card. Then turn on the phone.
  9. When your phone restart, you can see a few options. You have to select “Set Up as New iPhone”.

Solution 6: Factory restore (Reset Factory Settings)
This process will erase all data from your mobile. So Before doing it take a back up your iPad or iPhone. After finishing this restore everything.

  1. Go to Settings->General->Reset.
  2. Select “Erase All Contents and Settings”. Enter passcode if it is required.
  3. Then you will be asked to enter Apple ID password. Enter it. The reset process will take 1 or 2 minutes.

Now everything will be reset on your iPad and iPhone including the Restrictions passcode.
Note: you can select either iTunes or iCloud to take a back up.
To take a back up,

  1. Launch Settings->iCloud.
  2. Make sure that “iCloud Backup” is on.
  3. And tap on “Back Up Now”.icloud backup

Solution 7: Unblock the Phone numbers or Contacts

  1. Launch Settings->Phone->Call Blocking Identification.
  2. If you see any number or contact is blocked, tap “Edit” upper right corner of the screen.
  3. Click the minus button in the circle which is next to the number or contact that you want to unblock.
  4. Then tap “Unblock”.

Other solutions:

  1. Make sure that your iPhone/iPad is upgraded to latest version of iOS.
  2. Eject the SIM card and after 30 seconds reinsert it.
  3. Enable Airplane Mode and after 10 seconds disable it.
