iPhone 8 Plus Battery Percentage Stuck at 1%, 50%, 80%, or 100%? Here's the fix

Many people have a complaint that their iPhone 8 Plus battery percentage stays at 100% then dies and sometimes it stuck 1%.  They said when it gets stuck, the battery percentage not changing. Here I am going to tell you the solutions to fix this issue. If you have the same problem, this article will help you to fix it
Solution 1: Restart your device
Connect your phone to power and then restart your phone while charging.

  1. Press and hold the Side Button (Sleep/Wake) until the slide to power off Screen appears (or) go to Settings->General->Shut Down.
  2. Drag the slider to turn off your device.
  3. To turn your device on, press and hold the Side Button until the Apple Logo Appears.

Solution 2: Set “Date & Time” to automatic
If you change the Date & Time, the software will get confused to indicate the real battery life.

  1. Go to Settings->General->Date & Time.
  2. Toggle on (turn on) “Set Automatically”.

Note: If the battery percentage still gets stuck, turn on “24-Hours Time” too.
Solution 3: Turn on “Low Power Mode”.
Charge your phone until the battery is full. Then turn on “Low Power Mode”. Then use your phone and check battery percentage.

  1. Go to Settings->Battery.
  2. Turn on “Low Power Mode”.

Solution 4: Force Restart

  1. Press the Volume Up Button and release it.
  2. Press the Volume Down Button and release it.
  3. Press and hold the Side Button (Sleep/Wake) until the Apple Logo appears.

Solution 5: Don’t charge your device

  1. Don’t charge your iPhone until it completely dies (switches off).
  2. Then plug in to charge and then check whether it gets stuck or not.

Note: If it doesn’t work, fully charge your phone and let it completely dies.
Solution 6: Check for Software Update

  1. Connect your iPhone to Wi-Fi or Cellular Data.
  2. Go to Settings->General->Software Update.
  3. Tap “Download and Install” if update is available.

Solution 7: Reset All settings

  1. Go to Settings->General->Reset.
  2. Tap “Reset All Settings”.
  3. Enter your passcode if required.
  4. Tap “Reset All Settings” in the pop-up box.

Note: When you Reset All Settings, your device will remove all Bluetooth pairing details, saved Wi-Fi Networks & Passwords, and APN & VPN Settings.
Solution 8: Factory Reset
Before reset your iPhone to Factory Settings, backup your device. Because this action will Erase all data from your device.
To back up your device,

  1. Connect your phone to Wi-Fi or Cellular Data.
  2. Launch Settings->Apple ID (your name)->iCloud->iCloud Backup.
  3. Make sure that iCloud Backup is turned on. Tap “Back Up Now”.

Factory Reset/Restore

  1. Go to Settings->General->Reset.
  2. Tap “Erase All Contents and Settings”.
  3. A pop-up box will appear with three options: Back Up Then Erase, Erase Now, and Cancel.
  4. If you want to backup your device, tap “Back Up Then Erase”.
  5. If you have already taken a Backup, tap “Erase Now”.
  6. Wait until the process is finished.
