iPhone 7,8 Camera and Flashlight Not Working on iOS 11 [Solved]

Method 1: Force Close the App
Close the camera app. Then double-press the home button quickly to force close the app. Here you can see recently closed apps. Then swipe up the camera app to close. Again open Camera App and use and check whether it’s working or not.
Method 2: Reset All Settings

  1. Open “Settings”.
  2. Click “General”.
  3. Click “Reset” and click “Reset All Settings”.

Method 3: Force restart
Force restart/Hard Reset (till iPhone 6)

  1. Press and hold the “Home Button”.
  2. At the same time, press and hold the “Wake/Sleep (Power) button” at the top right of the iPhone while holding the “Home Button”.
  3. Hold both buttons until the screen goes “black” and wait until the “Apple logo” appears.

Force restart/Hard Reset ( iPhone 7)

  1. Press and hold Wake/Sleep (Power)” button.
  2. Press and hold the “Volume Down button” on the left side while holding the “Wake/Sleep (Power)” button.
  3. Wait until the “Apple logo” appears.

Force restart/Hard Reset ( iPhone 8 and iPhone X)

  1. Press “Volume Up button” and quickly release it. And then Press “Volume Down button” and quickly release it.
  2. At last, press and hold the “Power” button until the “Apple logo” appears.

Note: Don’t press “Volume Up” and “Volume Down” at the same time.
Method 4: Restore your Device
Before restore, you have to backup your device. Because it erases the phone’s data.

  1. Connect your iDevice to Mac.
  2. Open iTunes on your Mac. Then select your “iPhone” icon at the top.
  3. Click “Summary” panel.
  4. Then click “Restore iPhone”. Now, your Phone will be restored.

Method 5: Turn on LED Flash for Alerts Accessibility

  1. Open “Settings”.
  2. Click “General”.
  3. Click “Accessibility” -> turn “LED Flash for Alerts”.

Method 6: Update latest iOS
There are many bugs in iOS 11. Apple will be released new iOS for iPhone. It will fix iPhone flashlight not working problem. You have to wait for updating until a new version of iOS releases.
Method 7: Turn off Low Power Mode
Sometime flashlight doesn’t work in low power mode. So, you have to turn off it.

  1. Launch “Settings”.
  2. Click “Battery”. Turn off if it turned on.
