iOS 12 Stuck in Recovery Mode? Here’s the fix


Many people have a complaint that their iPhone stuck in Recovery Mode on iOS 12. Many people face this issue while upgrading/downgrading. Here I am going to tell you how to get out of Recovery Mode on iOS 12.
Reasons for iPhone stuck in Recovery Mode

  1. It may happen when something goes with iOS update.
  2. When you install the update with low battery.

Fix 1: Force Restart
iPhone 6 and earlier
Press and hold the Home Button and Power Button (Sleep/Wake) until the Apple Logo Appears.
iPhone 7 & 7 Plus
Press and hold the Side Button and Volume Down Button until the Apple Logo appears.
iPhone 8, 8 Plus, & X

  1. Press the Volume Up Button and release it.
  2. Press the Volume Down Button and release it.
  3. Press and hold the Side Button until the Apple Logo appears.

Fix 2: Use Tenorshare ReiBoot
You won’t lose any data from your iPhone if you use Tenorshare Reiboot.  Here you don’t need to restore to exit Recovery Mode.

  1. Download and install Tenorshare ReiBoot on Mac/Windows.
  2. Launch Tenorshare ReiBoot.
  3. Connect your iPhone to PC/Computer.
  4. When you connect your iPhone, Tenorshare ReiBoot will automatically recognize that your iPhone is in Recovery Mode.
  5. When it finds that your phone is in Recovery Mode, it will automatically highlight the option “Exit Recovery Mode”.
  6. Tap “Exit Recovery Mode”.ios 12 recovery mode-stuck
  7. This process will take only 20 0r 30 seconds. Wait until the process is finished.
  8. Then your iPhone will restart normally

Fix 3: Use iTunes

  1. Connect your iPhone to PC/Computer.
  2. Open iTunes. Make sure that iTunes is updated to the latest version.
  3. iTunes will automatically find that your iPhone in Recovery Mode and it will also show a pop-up.
  4. Tap “Update” or “Restore”  in the pop-up box to exit recovery Mode. If you select “Update”, iTunes will try to update reinstall iOS without deleting your data. If you select “Restore”, iTunes will erase all data from your iPhone.iphone stuck in recovery mode-ios 12
  5. Try “Update”. If it doesn’t work out, try “Restore”.
  6. Wait until the process is finished. This process will take more than 15 minutes.
