iOS 12 Personal Hotspot Not Working (Fixed)

Many Apple users have a complaint that Personal Hotspot not working on their iPhone/iPad. They said that this problem occurred after updating iOS 12. Here I am going to tell you the solutions to fix this issue.
Fix 1: Refresh Personal Hotspot

1. Go to Settings->Cellular.
2. Make sure that Cellular Data is turned on.
3. Tap “Personal Hotspot”.
4. Turn off “Personal Hotspot”.
5. Restart your iPhone/iPad.
6. Then turn on “Personal Hotspot”.

Fix 2: Force Restart
Restart your iOS device that provides Personal Hotspot and the other device that needs internet.
iPad, iPhone 6, 6s, 6 Plus, and earlier
Press and hold the Home Button and Power Button (Sleep/Wake) until the Apple Logo Appears.
iPhone 7 & 7 Plus
Press and hold the Side Button and Volume Down Button until the Apple Logo appears.
iPhone 8, 8 Plus, & X

• Press the Volume Up Button and release it.
• Press the Volume Down Button and release it.
• Press and hold the Side Button until the Apple Logo appears.

Fix 3: Check for Software Update

1. Connect your phone to Wi-Fi or Cellular Data.
2. Go to Settings->General->Software Update.
3. Tap “Download and Install” if update is available.

Fix 4: Reset Network settings

1. Go to Settings->General->Reset.
2. Tap “Reset Network Settings”.
3. Enter the Passcode if required.
4. Tap “Reset Network Settings” in the pop-up box.

Note: This action will reset all Wi-Fi Networks & Passwords, APN & VPN Settings, and Cellular Settings of your iPhone.
Fix 5: Update your Carrier Settings

1. Connect your phone to Wi-Fi or Cellular Data.
2. Go to Settings->General->About.
3. Tap “Update” in the pop-up box if update is available.

Fix 6: Reset All Settings

1. Go to Settings->General->Reset.
2. Tap “Reset All Settings”.
3. Enter your passcode and restrictions passcode.
4. Tap “Reset All Settings”.
5. Again tap “Reset all Settings” to confirm.

Note: This action will reset all Wi-Fi Networks & Passwords, APN & VPN Settings, and Cellular Settings of your iPhone.
Other Solutions:

1. Change internet connections. Change the connection from Wi-Fi to Bluetooth or USB.
2. Restore your iOS device to Factory Settings.
