iPhone Says “iPhone storage full” Message but Nothing on iPhone

Many iPhone users have said that their iPhone shows “iPhone Storage is Full” but they have more space. I think it’s one of the irritating issues in iOS 12. iPhone users have asked how to fix this issue? Here I am going to tell you how to get rid of this problem using easy solutions.
Solution 1: Move your Photos to iCloud
If you have more photos on your iPhone, but you need that. So, you can move it to iCloud.

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone.
  2. Tap on your Apple ID.
  3. Now, tap on “iCloud” -> “Photos”.
  4. Turn on iCloud Photo Library and select “Optimize iPhone Storage”.

Solution 2: Delete Some Apps and Reinstall it
Delete the apps which frequently you used. It may solve this problem.

  1. Press and hold the app that you want to delete. Hold this until app icons wiggling and X symbol appear.
  2. Click the “X” symbol to delete the app.
  3. Then download and install the app from the App Store.

Solution 3: Delete Unwanted Apps, Photos, and Videos
Delete those apps, photos, and videos no longer in use. It will also occupy the storage of your phone. Many iPhone users have unwanted photos and videos on their phone. If you don’t need that, delete it.
Solution 4: Clear Safari’s Cache

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone.
  2. Tap “Safari”.
  3. Scroll down the page and tap “Clear History and Website Data”.

Solution 5: Restart your Phone
iPhone 8 Plus and Earlier

  1. Press and hold the Power button (Sleep/Wake) until you get a slider.
  2. To turn off your device, drag the slider.
  3. After a few seconds, again press and hold the power button until you get an Apple logo

iPhone X and Later

  1. Press the Power Button and either Volume Up or Down Button until getting power off slider.
  2. Then drag the slider to turn off your device.
  3. Wait for 20 to 30 seconds.
  4. To turn on your iPhone, press and hold the Power Button until getting an Apple Logo.

Solution 6: Reset All Settings

  1. Launch Settings app on your iPhone.
  2. Tap “General”.
  3. Tap “Reset”.
  4. Now, select “Reset All Settings”.
  5. Enter the passcode if prompted.
  6. Again tap “Reset All Settings” in the pop-up box to confirm.

Solution 7: Disable iCloud Drive
iCloud Drive allows you to access files from another connected iOS device. If you turn off it, you can be saving some storage space. To do this,

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone.
  2. Tap on your Apple ID and Tap “iCloud”.
  3. Scroll down the page and Turn off “iCloud Drive”.

Solution 8: Delete Messages
If you have Messages more than a year, then it occupies your iPhone storage. So, delete them first from your iPhone.

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone.
  2. Tap “Messages”.
  3. Then select ”Keep Messages”.
  4. If you select “Forever”, now select “30 days”. It erases the Messages every 30 days once.

Solution 9: Clear your Notes
Some people are taking notes in the Notes app. This is an actually good habit though it has also occupied your iPhone’s Storage. So, delete unwanted notes from the app. This method also helps you get rid of this problem.
Solution 10: Don’t keep HDR Photos

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone.
  2. Tap “Photos & Camera”.
  3. Turn off “Keep Normal Photo”.

Solution 11: Factory Reset your Phone
Before doing this back up your device. Because this action will erase all the information from your Phone.

  1. Go to Settings app on your iPhone.
  2. Tap “General” -> “Reset”.
  3. Now, select “Erase All Content and Settings”.
  4. Enter the passcode if need.
  5. Then tap “Erase Now” to confirm this process.
