iOS 12 Clock Not Working – Here’s the Fix

Some iPhone users have been getting an issue that is clock not working after upgrade to iOS 12. I know it’s a big problem but it’s quite easy to fix. 5 Fixes for Clock Not Working Problem:
Solution 1: Hard Reset Your iPhone
iPhone 6 and earlier
Press and hold the Home Button and Power Button (Sleep/Wake) until the Apple Logo Appears.
iPhone 7 & 7 Plus
Press and hold the Side Button and Volume Down Button until the Apple Logo appears.
iPhone 8, 8 Plus, & X

  1. Press the Volume Up Button and release it.
  2. Press the Volume Down Button and release it.
  3. Press and hold the Side Button until the Apple Logo appears.

Note: Don’t press “Volume Up” and “Volume Down” at the same time.
Solution 2: Change the Time From Manually to Automatically
If you have set Manually, you have to change it to Automatically. To do so,

  1. Launch “Settings” -> “General” -> “Date & Time”.
  2. Set it Automatically you just turn on it.

Solution 3: Change the Time From Automatically to Manually
If you have set Automatically, you have to change it to Manually. To do so,

  1. Launch “Settings” -> “General” -> “Date & Time”.
  2. To set it Manually, turn off Automatically.
  3. Now, you have to reset the date and time.

Solution 4: Reset All Settings

  1. Launch “Settings”->“General”->“Reset”.
  2. Tap “Reset All Settings”.
  3. Enter your Restrictions Passcode.
  4. Tap “Reset All Settings” in the pop-up box.
  5. Again tap “Reset All Settings” to confirm.

Solution 5: Restore your phone in DFU/Recovery Mode
Before doing it make sure that you took a Back Up. because this action will erase all data on your phone.

  1. Connect your iPhone X via Lightning (USB) cable to the Mac or PC.
  2. Open iTunes on your PC or MAC. Make sure that iTunes is upgraded to latest version.
  3. Press Volume Up button and quickly release it. And then Press Volume Down button and quickly release it.
  4. At last, press and hold the Slide button (Wake/Sleep button).
  5. Don’t leave it after seeing Apple logo appears.
  6. Keep holding until the recovery mode screen appears. A box will open with three option. Choose “Restore” or “Update”. Wait until the process is finished.
  7. Then restart your device force.
