iOS 12 Bluetooth skipping on iPhone/iPad (Fixed)


Every update of iOS creates many issues on iPhone/iPad. Likewise, iOS 12 also has created some problems. One of the important problem is Bluetooth skipping. Here I am going to tell you the solutions for iOS 12 Bluetooth skipping issue.
Before trying these solutions, turn off Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
Solution 1: Keep iPhone and Bluetooth device close together

  1. This problem may occur when iPhone and Bluetooth device are far away from each other. So keep them close together.
  2. Try different locations because something may interfere with the Bluetooth connectivity.

Solution 2: Refresh Bluetooth

  1. Open Settings->Bluetooth.
  2. Turn off Bluetooth.
  3. Restart your iPhone and Bluetooth device.
  4. Then turn on Bluetooth.

Solution 3: Disconnect and reconnect Bluetooth devices

  1. Open Settings->Bluetooth.
  2. Make sure that Bluetooth is turned on.
  3. Click the info symbol (i) next to the Bluetooth device that you want to disconnect.
  4. Tap “Forget this Device”.
  5. Tap “Forget Device”.
  6. Then again repair your iPhone with the Bluetooth device and check whether Bluetooth skipping or not.

Solution 4: Check for Software Update

  1. Connect your iPhone to Wi-Fi.
  2. Open Settings->General->Software Update.
  3. Tap “Download and Install” if update is available.

Solution 5: Reset All Settings

  1. Go to Settings->General->Reset.
  2. Tap “Reset All Settings”.
  3. Enter passcode and Restrictions Passcode.
  4. Tap “Reset All Settings” in the pop-up box.
  5. Again tap “Reset All Settings” to confirm.
  6. Then repair your iPhone with the Bluetooth device

Note: Reset All Settings will remove all Bluetooth pairing details, saved Wi-Fi Networks & passwords,  and APN & VPN settings.
Other Solutions:

  1. It may be the headset issue. So try different headsets.
  2. Contact Apple support.
  3. Downgrade iOS 12.
