iOS 12 Alarm Volume Too Loud? Here’s the way to reduce it


Many iPhone users have a complaint that alarm volume is too loud on their iPhone after updating iOS 12.  Some people are searching alarm volume control option. Here I am going to how to reduce the alarm volume on iPhone & iPad. If you have the same issue, this article will help you to fix it.
Solution 1: Reduce alarm volume
When you reduce the Ringer and Alerts volume, the Alarm volume will turn down. Because Alarm volume comes under Alerts.

  1. Launch Settings.
  2. Scroll down to find “Sounds/Sounds & Haptics” and tap it.
  3. Adjust the Ringer and Alerts volume using the slider. Set the volume how much you want for alarm.
  4. Turn on “Change with Buttons” to adjust the volume using the volume buttons.

Solution 2: Restart your device

  1. Press and hold the Power Button (Sleep/Wake) until slide to power off screen appears.
  2. Drag the slider to turn off your device.
  3. To turn on your device, press and hold the Power Button until the Apple Logo appears.

Solution 3: Force Restart
iPhone 6 and earlier
Press and hold the Home Button and Power Button (Sleep/Wake) until the Apple Logo Appears.
iPhone 7 & 7 Plus
Press and hold the Side Button and Volume Down Button until the Apple Logo appears.
iPhone 8, 8 Plus, & X

  1. Press the Volume Up Button and release it.
  2. Press the Volume Down Button and release it.
  3. Press and hold the Side Button until the Apple Logo appears.

Solution 4: Reset All Settings

  1. Go to Settings->General->Reset.
  2. Tap “Reset All Settings”.
  3. Enter your passcode and restrictions passcode.
  4. Tap “Reset All Settings”.
  5. Again tap “Reset All Settings” to confirm.

Note: This action will reset all Wi-Fi Networks & Passwords, APN & VPN Settings, and Cellular Settings of your iPhone.

Am I correct I. Saying you can reduce the alarm sound without reducing the ringer volume?? That’s silly, I need to be able to hear my phone ringing during the day but don’t want my alarm to wake the whole house at 5am!?!
