Fixed: Incoming Call Display Delay Problem iPhone X


I bought iPhone X before three months. I didn’t have any problem until yesterday. Today morning I got a call from my sister. I noticed that ringtone started but incoming call display came after 7 – 8 minutes. It happens sometimes only. One of my friend guided me to solve this problem. If you have the same problem, this post will help you to fix it.


Solution 1: Soft restart

  1. Launch “Settings”.
  2. Tap “General”.
  3. Scroll down to find “Shut Down” and tap it. Then turn on your phone.

Solution 2: Hard Reset/Force Restart

  1. Press Volume Up button and quickly release it. And then Press Volume Down button and quickly release it.
  2. At last, press and hold the Slide button (Wake/Sleep button) until the Apple logo appears.iPhone x

Solution 3: Reset Factory Settings (Factory restore)
This process will erase all data from your mobile. So Before doing it take a back up your iPad or iPhone.
To take a back up,

  1. Connect your phone to Wi-Fi or Data network.
  2. Launch Settings->Apple ID (your name)->iCloud->iCloud Backup.
  3. Make sure that iCloud Backup is turned on. Tap “Back Up Now”.back up iphone x

Wait until the process is finished. If the backup process is completed, you can see the date & time of the last backup under “Back Up Now”.
Factory Reset/Restore

  1. Go to Settings->General->Reset.
  2. Tap “Erase All Contents and Settings”.
  3. A pop-up box will appear with three options: Finishing Uploading Then Erase, Erase Now, and Cancel.
  4. If you want to take a Backup, tap “Finishing Uploading Then Erase”.
  5. If you have already taken a Backup, tap “Erase Now”.

When it restarts, Set up your iPhone X as new.
After that, Restore/Setup iPhone X from iCloud Backup

  1. Turn on your device. Hello screen will appear.
  2. Select your language when prompted. Select your country or region. Now you can see how the information will display on your device including date & time, contacts, and etc.
  3. Tap ”Set Up Manually”.
  4. Connect your device to Wi-Fi or Cellular (Data) network. If you want to use Wi-Fi network, tap “WiFi” or insert a SIM and use Cellular (mobile data) network. To use Cellular network, tap “Use Cellular Connection”.
  5. Set Up Face ID or Touch ID and create a new passcode.
  6. You can see the “Apps & Data” screen with four options. Tap “Restore from iCloud Backup”.apps & data
  7. Sign in to iCloud by entering “Apple ID & Password”.apple ID password
  8. Tap “Next” at the right upper corner of the screen.
  9. Then tap “Agree” to agree the Terms and Conditions.
  10. Then the latest list of Backup for your iPhone will appear. Select the latest backup and tap it.

Now your phone will restore everything from iCloud Backup.
You can also Restore your iPhone X using iTunes.

Solution 4: Reset Network Settings

  1. Go to Settings->General->Reset.
  2. Tap “Reset Network Settings” under Reset.
  3. Enter passcode if required and tap “Reset Network Settings” to confirm the action.Reset Network Settings

This action will delete all WiFi passwords, APN and VPN settings of the iPhone.

This all does not work it’s sinple misguiding people , done all this “N” number of times. Apple engineers themselves have no answer for this problem and this problem is with majority of public
