My iPhone X is not unlocking and I have tried all the possible ways. I tried to activate Face ID and also tried to swipe up on the screen. But nothing makes my iPhone unlock.
Here is the real fix that helped me to unlock.
How to Unlock your iPhone X
Your iPhone X will be unlocked in two ways that depend on whether your Face ID is recognized or not.
You will find Swipe Up option at the bottom of the display if your iPhone X identifies your Face ID. You need to swipe up from the very bottom of the screen to unlock your iPhone.
If your Face doesn’t recognize by your iPhone X, you will find the same option “swipe up to open”. But you will definitely know that your iPhone X is still locked by seeing the lock symbol top of the screen.
If your iPhone X is not recognized your Face ID, it means that you are having some trouble using Face ID.
Reset your iPhone X
You need to perform hard reset your iPhone X since it is not unlocked and is passive.
To hard reset, your iPhone X follow the below-mentioned steps.
- Quick press and release the volume up button.
- Quick press and release the volume down button
- Hold down the side button and release it when you find the Apple logo on the screen.
Note: Still your iPhone X won’t unlock, it may be caused by the software issue.
DFU restore is defined as Device Firmware Update, that deletes all the code that controls your iPhone X’s hardware and software. It will be reloaded later.
Still, your iPhone X is not unlocked, it may be because of the hardware problem in your iPhone X. So bring your iPhone X to the nearby Apple store.
